This year’s Reflector Refraktor was a pleasant surprise, upgrading the G1 character for modern times while keeping connections to his triple threat camera mode. One of the best features is that if you buy three of the Deluxes you can form a camera mode, complete with DSLR lens and tripod. With the US and Western releases however, no instructions for how to do that. Most of us can figure it out from the promo pics but it’s still good to have the steps documented. Takara Tomy to the rescue, as they have included it with their release and put the PDF online for all to download. We are sharing a copy of the Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Refraktor camera mode instructions here with this story, read on to check it out!

…this is the coolest figure of the siege line, by far!..

im just annoyed the extra parts, flash etc, are exclusive to the box set

Very cool to have these instructions even though i figured it out on my own. I love having the download and would love more stuff if there is anymore. Then I can 1 day print them out on good paper for safe keeping.

Leave Viewfinder's lens on, the telescopic lens will fit over the top of it, no problem. Spectro's lens can be used as a button and Spyglass's is the tripod connector. Flip up the feet on the left bot, you've got a built-in flash.
They have to be getting tired of doing Hasbro's job on the little things like this. You know they sit there and go "Are you kidding me? It's instructions!"

Love this guy. Using a head and chest as the flash was my favorite choice.

Even though it's not difficult to figure out, I'm surprised Hasbro didn't add the instructions to the retail release in the first place.
Considering that it's advertised on the box and not an Easter egg like with Soundwave.

Nice. Just received the two additional figures I needed to form the camera, today.

I was doing it wrong for a couple of months until I watched Peaugh's review. I had the robot arms of Spectro and Spyglass hanging off of the back. Now the camera is absolutely a solid brick. Now if the tripod would only stay on…oh well, Reflector…er, Refraktor (DAMN you, trademarks!) is one of the absolute best Siege releases that we've gotten, IMHO.
GAUGE
Though awesome to have I never needed instructions, I just watched Peugh's Review when I got my 3 a couple weeks ago.

I'm not sure what that has to do with….
….oh…oh not that kind of whipping.
Dark Skull
Mine hasn't unpegged itself. Everything seems to be holding up just fine. Of course, mine has been on display since day one…
Spartan Prime
Super solid. At least on mine, they stand zero change of falling apart. The connectors are snug. You can whip the thing across the room and it wouldn't fall apart. If you're into that sort of thing.

The translucent chest piece from the middle one works well too…..annoyingly mine are not with me so cant take pics
bearytrek
I flip up the middle feet to resemble the viewfinder
Dann86
Yeah they are but its prob going to be like £40+
CyberDragon10K
I think Matrix Workshop is working on an add-on for all the little bits and bobs Reflector would like to really sell the camera mode. Not sure if it's out yet or not though, and who knows what it'll be priced at.
Dann86
Yeah it can be used as a button. Also can flip the feet up on the right hand side to look like a flash if you wish.
Kenchanayoh
Stability is no problem. The pegs/connectors are really tight.
Only issue is the tripod stand might occasionally unpeg itself
NTPrime
This doesn't account for the third round peg. I believe it would operate as the camera button?
