I they did good enough for the truck mode. Better than the official.
But they didn't KO the dna design shoulder articulation unfortunately. That's what many people wanted.
I already use the gobetter upgrade kit for my official ss102 so it's all good.

Ss102 and bmb KO

Anyway my point is which is a better choice to buy? Official ss102 or baiwei KO or BMB KO? Without any upgrade kits. Price. Amount of stuff that comes with it.
I have all 3 of them. To me the clear winner is baiwei.
BluJayWarrior
More articulation is a given, but otherwise just clean up the turret and kibble on his arms and legs really. SS Brawl is already a great figure otherwise!

Awesome custom work, as always!
I think as long as it's accurate and makes for a good masterpiece figure, i'm happy, even if it's just an upscaled SS figure, though they need to give him ankle pivot and get rid of the tank dick.
Some blast effects would also be nice!
What time is the reveal again?
TF Hot Rod
I’m expecting blast effects and the arm to be detachable as a feature advertised. Almost maybe an articulated jaw.

With MPM Brawl set to reveal tomorrow, let's get some hype going with Brawl pics! What are your hopes/expectations?

Thinking about it more, I'm fine with TFO being a separate thread, makes sense.

Time to retract my previous post!
But yeah, kinda feels like trying to claim Fall of Cybertron belongs in the same discussion as Rescue Bots. "It's set in the same–" lol no.
TheDude810
Yeah thinking it over after watching the trailer I agree TF:O should be separate.

There's already 5 billion "appreciation" threads. What's one more?
ziltama
Yeah, but it's mostly the same and still looks really off without the weapons storage to draw attention.
I wonder if the existing upgrade kits would even be compatible, especially for the Hot Rod shoulders. The DNA shoulder fix alone has made the most dramatic difference of the various upgrade kits I've tried.
Fenrys
It does alter the leg transformation to clean it up though, so it does a bit more than just adding a hitch panel
ziltama
Still has the crappy truck mode. Yes, it adds a hitch panel but that doesn't fix the crappy leg transformation scheme. There's no way to actually fix the legs without something like the DNA or Go Better sets. The giant smokestack tops are also odd.
I'm a bit hesitant of Baiwei's figure quality over time. I guess we'll see. I do like their accessories sets, though.

These go so unbelievably hard

baiwei KO of ss102 finally arrived. This is the best version of the mold so far.
Better paint. They fix the truck mode.
Comes with a Noah figure.

Gonna guess wanting to drag it out and not have the mainline compete with SS full on this time
neevnav
I think it's more that TF One is primarily geared towards younger kids, where SS is geared slightly more towards collectors. I expect we'll see a deluge of easier to transform toys coming out for that age group, and a few for SS, which to me makes sense.
Duwoon012
You know, this year and next's leaked listings really rub me oddly. Like, when RotB was coming out, almost the entire cast immediately took over Studio Series. Now though? With TFOne, we're getting one SS this year and three the next. Maybe with how RotB underperformed, their plan is to play it easy on SS figures for TFOne, unless it happens to really take off in popularity later? That's what it seems like to me, at least.
JonzyYT
There's so many characters in TF:One.
We ain't ever seeing Bayverse in Studio Series again lmao.
DeathsTreads77
These look like animation promo shots, not action figure photography. That's awesome
