3P company Newage have uploaded via their Weibo account images of the color prototypes of their next entry in the Legends scale market: H10 Abadon (Kickback), H-11 Berial (Shrapnel) & H-12 H12 Asmodeus (Bombshell), the G1 Insecticons.

These are small but very articulated figures with a great cartoon-accurate design in both modes. Each toy includes the respective classic gun and three Energon cubes as extra bonus. We still have no concrete information price or release date, but they are likely to be sold as a set of three.

so SG bombshell has red legs in bot mode, but supposed to have a black back section in bug mode, and so NA went with the bot mode red colour as the priority. i think i would have preferred they did the opposite, black legs and red feet.

Red legs look fine on their own, but when put in the group, it makes sense for them to be the same.

You have to blame the SG colorist. If NA went with their own color scheme, they would be "wrong".

Agreed, I think black legs would have been a better choice. Your digibash looks great! It’s tricky because the Diaclone figure shows the inner (red) legs in bot mode mode but closes them up to show the black side in beetle mode. Maybe instead of going with full-red legs a better compromise would have been making them black and then painting a red stripe or patch on them (like you have with the red side vents).

Ah well, still looking forward to the figure a bunch, though!

the more i look at my digibash of bombshell, the more i wish NA had gone this route. if/when i get my set of SG bugs, i think i'll have to mod bombshell either by part swapping and/or paint to fix him up.

I hope ShowZ starts fulfilling orders this week 'cause my Clover is getting hangry!
