Via Screenrant we have our first look at four new War for Cybertron Siege figures. Two of these were long rumored, the other two are pleasant surpries.
First up we have a confirmed rumor; Leader class Astrotrain! He’s got both his original shuttle and locomotive modes and looks very close to the Generation 1 original. In fact, this is possibly the best looking of the three modern Astrotrains. He comes with two JF-50 Ionic Displacer Blasters, the JF-30 Astro Blaster, the W-15 Destabilizer Cannon, and the W-40 Turbo-Core Derailer. All five accessories can combine to form the Omni-Force Orbital Cannon.
Next we have the rumored Voyager class Apeface. Like Astrotrain Apeface is a triple changer with both his original alternate modes – his cybernetic ape mode and also his spaceship mode. While not shown in these images, Screenrant reports that Apeface will also have his Headmaster companion Spasma in this new version. Accessories include the SA Sonic Boom Blaster and EM Electro Shield.
Third in this series of reveals is Spinister. Spinister is based very closely on his original 1988 toy, and includes two guns: the NFM Dual-Fusion Cannon and a Spin-Blast Particle Beam Cannon. Fans of the Scavengers from the More Than Meets the Eye comic series will be happy to add this one to the shelves.
Lastly, we have Crosshairs. Crosshairs was one of the Autobots Targetmasters released in 1987, and a character that many of us have been hoping for since Titans Return gave us updates of the Decepticon Targetmasters. Crosshairs is a remolded version of Siege Ironhide, with a robot mode that nicely resembles the original Generation 1 toy design, but due to the mold reuse has traded his original buggy alternate mode for a truck.
Update: HQ Images added to the gallery
All these figures are expected for release on December 1st 2019. Check out the official images of all four of these reveals attached to this post.
