Via Transform Element on Weibo we can share for you the first prototype images of the new TE-02 Bumblebee Movie VW Bettle Bumblebee for your viewing pleasure.
Transform Element is bringing a very promising take on Bumblebee as seen in his first solo movie. The robot mode looks movie-accurate (specially the back) and highly detailed. We still have no concrete information on scale, price or release date yet, but be sure to stay tuned with TFW2005 for new updates.

Been enjoying mine but really, I can see them not rereleasing him since mine had QC issues and had to get a whole new one side of him for vehicle mode.
Fallout
i have no idea what robot scale everybody uses but alt mode's 1/29 and robot height is right at the middle of threezero DLX BB prime's thigh. this was a fantastically engineered little butterball, but my copy was always untransforming itself like @yuthura's and alt mode was always a pain. considering how "logical" the transformation is though that was my primary interest. instead of origami-ing and faking its way into robot mode it manages to actually get all the vehicle parts arranged into a complete robot (with horribly designed calves, admittedly)

Okay so I guess this and MPM-12 with the DNA upgrade kit would be a good match.

i'm always surprised when this thread pops up because its such an underappreciated figure. The things that stopped it from getting more popular in my opinion is the adherence to hastak's MPM scale (which is a good thing if you like mpm-12 vs. one of the OS or DLX sized offerings), a few misassembled QC issues here and there, and the fact that aesthetically he is a bit too CHONKY and squat for some and less "heroic". To me that suits bee fine…i always think of him as kinda round and short because well….beetle. the others may be "too heroically proportioned" but this one is too chunky compared to the CG artwork for sure. That said, it actually HAS a decent alt mode unlike TC's IMO. Anyway, if you get a well assembled one…its a good piece! its my knightverse MP bee for sure. Even if he is too small going by offical scale…i think a beetle should be much much smaller than say DLX blitzwing…and this one is. i guess i don't like the official scaling anyway.

The extended opinion is:
In MPM scale, it is the best.
In oversized scale, CE01 is the best.
But obviously, everyone has their own needings.

I didn't say TC's was perfect, I said I prefer it to TE's which, for me, is far from perfect, both in design and QA.
Don't get me wrong, TE's is definitely not a bad figure, but I wouldn't say it was the best of the available options between TE, TC, Zeta, or the official MPM.
And, as always, options, are good!
ManelFigures
In my opinion, a perfect figure is a figure without QC issues.
yuthura
I disagree. I have both this, TE's, and TransCraft's figures, and to me the engineering on TC is a lot nicer. Both are fiddly about exactly where to align parts to make the alt mode come together, but there is a lot more flexing and bending of plastic on this during the transformation than there is on TC.
I also have a lot of loose tabs on TE, as well as pins simply falling out. Nothing broken yet, but he easily "untransforms" when posing in robot mode and it's very hard to align all the panels for a clean and gapless alt mode.
Thankfully I have not had any breaks or other QA failures on either figure, and I've heard TC in particular has bad QA.
I much prefer the clean and sleek look of TC, and even find the transformation a lot more enjoyable than TE.
Neither can hold a candle to UT's Peru Kill, UT's Challenger, or DX9's La Hire though; those are true masterpieces in my book.

The MPM. Others are too large.

I wasn't interested in this before but I kind of am now. What Optimus scales well with this one?
ManelFigures
This figure is extremely perfect in engineering and materials, but everyone was releasing his own oversized design. TE01 has a MPM scale, not a OS MPM. People "usually" buy oversized MPM KO and it's hard to fit with this TE01.
My personal opinion, is probably the best Bee right now… If he was bigger, would be perfect.
Sanity Bleeds
Oversaturation. There was this version, a Zeta version, and the Transcraft version all back to back, plus a couple Studio Series mainline releases.
Scourgatron
Whatever happened to this? Did it do that bad to not get a revision?
Fallout
i have one of these available. box, no instructions, the front passenger wheel is broken off the hinge and his cannon has a little bit of blast effect residue on the tip. i'm open to offers cuz if you're in this thread you probly kinda want him anyway and i want him gone lol
ManelFigures
This Bee is my favourite figure of my collection. I made tons of jokes of the proportions and shape, but after the fail of "cracking" Transcraft, I can't be disappointed with the quality of Transform Element brand. I really want a KO of MPM12 to join him.

Absolutely! Have it on preorder and am very excited for that kit!
I’ve owned the Transcraft one as well and while that one is undoubtedly perfect in terms of detail and screen accuracy, this one I caught myself have more fun messing with. He’s also cute and pudgy and dangit did that real me in.

Get the leg extensions in the mpm12 kit and it will be 100% perfect!
Shmoptimus Prime
Looks great. This is such a cute bee. If my Transcraft one ever breaks (knock on wood cause it's been fine so far!) then I'll try and track this one down for sure.

Quick bump after getting MPM 12 and reacquiring TE Bumbelbee after selling him and regretting it.
The scale works almost perfect!

Thank you so much!.
