Are you enjoying this series so far? Sound off on the 2005 boards!
Treadshot 2.0
If they kill Cyclonus too I'm gonna consider it a middle finger to the previous continuity and I WILL be displeased.
Lionheart
I wish this was canon. Rodimus the big brother and Flamewar his rebellious little sister who's just joined the cons because she's in a really edgy phase. They used to have the same palette but ever since she hit 2 million, she's been wearing the black paint to show the inner turmoil that brews in her frame.

Maybe.
Shadow Striker (Universe) – Transformers Wiki
CyberstormSM
Shadow Striker, eh? Nice to see a Cyberverse character jump continuity so soon!
WilyMech
Flamewar looks like Hot Rod little sister.
Maverick Hunter Christian
It's like an amalgam of her two Botcon toys. Beast Hunters Arcee chest plate and leg kibble. Energon Arcee's behind the shoulder wheel placement.

Are they phone cables? Maybe this is how the rise communicates without getting monitored.
deltaprime
Looks like she's still dressed up in her Rodimus costume from the last continuity

Transformers #8
Issy543
It’s available on ComiXology. I guess it’ll take a bit longer for it to appear on the IDW Transformers App?

Did the Ghostbusters crossover get delayed too? I was expecting to see this issue and that crossover for sale in the IDW transformers ios app but neither are there.
SuperTitanHans
That’s a bummer. Oh well.
Issy543
It's out next week, on the 3rd July.

Is there no new issue today?
Lionheart
I always expect modern Optimi to be boring as hell until they inevitably get angry and start acting more reckless so honestly I think it's Chromia.
TeamOptimus
Oh yeah, Quake. I forgot all about him, that subplot was so unremarkable. And generic thug is right.
Lack of a visible antagonist is definitely an issue right now, imo. I get that it's supposed to be a mystery, but there should at least be ONE character who's making things difficult for the others for some additional drama.
I think Megatron is filling this role by being at odds with Orion on the state of Cybertron (and holding rallies/assembling a security force), but they've made him so boring that I barely care. All he does is spew long-winded, vague political stuff and act hilariously petulant.
So yeah…PLEASE give us an antagonist already. Not even a villain, but just a real antagonist.
ProtectronPrime
In my opinion, it's Quake.
Thus far, Quake is the only character that's even remotely a visible antagonist. The burden is on him to actually do something interesting. Thus far, all he's done is spouted Dialogue Set #4552 out of Generic Thug Playlist #221 and punched a baby to death offscreen.
Now, he MAY get more interesting, but at this point he's got all of the draw and character impact of Bulk and Skull from the Power Rangers.
I challenge you this – re-read the page where he runs after Rubble, and play the Bulk and Skull leitmotif while you do so. The fit is unsettling.
TeamOptimus
Who's the most boring character so far?
For me, it's a tossup between Orion and Chromia.
Lionheart
Nice to finally see some action!
