Courtesy of Polygon.com we have our first official images of the Transformers x Ghostbusters MP-10G Optimus Prime Ecto-35 Edition.
The figure is our good-old MP-10 Optimus Prime mold with a special deco inspired by the Ghostbusters franchise, including other great details like a new ghost-trap accessory that can be mounted on top of Roller and a cool Slimer figurine!
We also have a clear look at the great packaging that resembles the iconic Ghostbusters proton pack! You can even carry it in your back.
The MP-10G Optimus Prime Ecto-35 Edition will be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con International 2019 (July 18-21) and costs $149.99. Check out the mirrored images on this news post and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!

When that thing was new, I tried buying twice from similar eBay listings, scams both times – nothing ever really shipped, the sellers pulled up stakes and disappeared. Gave up on Ecto Prime after that.

Claiming to be "new"? No box? From China? My bet?: Either it's used (however lightly or only displayed), or it's a KO. Having an original, I can say that it looks good. That display base he's standing on didn't come with the character, though.

I purchased MP10G at full retail £180 from TFSEXPRESS UK when it was released in Sept/Oct 2019. These were then heavily discounted and widely available on sale after a few months from retailers such as InDemandToys for £140 and Kapow Toys £140. At one point even Forbidden Planet were selling it for £100.
Depends where your based. It still available via TFSEXPRESS using their EX service for USA $160.

I read the comic series and it is awesome. Two of the most beloved franchises of the 80s.
It is a shame MP-10G is so hard to find.
