3A is in attendance at Wonder Festival Shanghai 2019 in China this weekend. Along with the normal awesome displays of their various goods, including their Transformers Movie Premium and DLX size figures, they brought along two HUGE versions of Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. These are significantly upscaled versions of their recent offerings. Bumblebee looks to be around 8 feet and Prime looks to be 15 feet or so, but that’s just a guesstimate. Either way they are big and really well done.
Also of note, DLX scale Optimus Prime has gone up for pre-order on Worldof3a.com. He’s retailing for $199 USD and is due to ship in Q4 2019. Retailers across the globe should also be carrying him, including some of our sponsors below so keep an eye out for their listings!
3A sent along some pics of the event so check them out after the break!

I traveled to farm and brought Optimus with me, but somehow his wheel didn't arrive with him. It has a month now and I looked for it everywhere
VVa
How did you lose a wheel??
Angry fan
My ROTF Optimus lost a wheel. I asked them a new one and they said they are sending it

So my Optimus' left arm arrived in the mail today from ThreeZero. It looks like they may have actually given me a new arm rather than just repairing the old one.
I first contacted CS on 14 Sep and today is 9 Nov so that's about 8 weeks all up. Quite happy with ThreeZero's CS. Make sure you fill in the warranty card whenever you get a new figure is all I can say.
DinoSnarl
Well I just got an email from ThreeZero saying that that Optimus' arm has been repaired already. It was supposed to take up to 8 weeks but they got it done in 4.
Got to be happy with that.

Damn good to know! My tlk Bumblebee came with issues on the feet, hopefully they'll fix it as well
DinoSnarl
Yeah that's the first thing I do every time I receive a Threezero piece.
ManelFigures
The figure probably has a guarantee card inside the box. It's recommended to fill and send it to them.
DinoSnarl
Thanks mate. Well good news is Threezero CS replied and they have offered to fix the arm and send it back to me if I send it to them. That's pretty good customer support I thought. Would never get anything like that from Takara that's for sure.

One of these guys hands made me nervous as hell when I switched mine. I forget which, may have been Prime.
Sorry to hear that happened.
DinoSnarl
Thanks for the tip
I'll be sure not force the hands from now on.
ManelFigures
Sorry for you!!
If you warm the hands, they'll come off easy.
It's a thin but flexible part, I always been extremely careful with the wrists. Never force any part. It's a golden rule. Warm up first!.
DinoSnarl
So I just realised that when trying to force Prime's hand on I broke his wrist guard
. Have reached out to ThreeZero CS about spares but I'm not hopeful as they've probably run out by now.

I know it's old af, but do you also see this with DLX figures?
Rob
Happen to my shoulder too and yes I agree they should not be falling off. At the same token, it is very easy to fix.

I think the first one is the better of the 2. I feel like having the grill guard be on his lower chest area is gonna restrict his movement a bit.
VVa
Here are a couple that look pretty cool.
I like the first one better because it just adds to what was already a great design. The second one reminds me of Energon Prime, and that's a pretty mid design. If there's anything I'd change, it's for the bull bar to flip upside down and slightly deform. View attachment 29419983View attachment 29419984

I'm very curious as well cause I feel like that gonna go somewhere and you wouldn't put that on the front of the truck for it not to. Maybe it will be over the shoulders like fan art done have shown but we'll see. The other ROTB toys we know are coming this year (now under Cyberverse) should hopefully give us an idea of how that will be done (and at least one of the Prime ROTB toys will be accurate to the actual design unlike the Smash Changer figure).
VVa
Thanks! I used a silver acrylic pen. And I used Sepia colored ink in light amounts on top of that to give it that "been in battle" look.
And that leaves me to wonder how they'll incorporate the bull bar into Primes ROTB design. Should be interesting!
