Had the Burst Tarn in my cart but it would never let me choose a shipping option to finish.
Not sure if they weren't allowing out of the country orders or not. Oh well.
Digger
It was extremely limited to be fair.

I feel like an MP Tarn might happen. MMC is rumoured to be starting a G1 styled MP line for non-G1 characters. So he could easily appear in that.
MehWave
Agreed! I can appreciate the perceived safety of "known quantities," but there's something to be said for expanding the audience's tastes with "new" characters. At some point, all the G1 characters were "unknown quantities." And look, it worked.
ReadyParzivalOne
hes sooooooo sick
how and where do i get him?
SG Roadbuster
Impactor, Scrounge, Straxus, and Drift were all comic only characters. They got toys.
Also, we'd have more room in the toy lineup if Hasbro would knock it off with the constant rehashing of the same dozen characters from the first three episodes of Geewun.
Johntimus Prime
I wager the "original character, do not steal" types from IDW largely don't warrant mass retail releases, considering how few people actually read the comics (that's just the reality of funny books in current year)
That said, for all my issues with IDW, Tarn is one of the designs I genuinely like. Too bad these figures don't transform and cost a lot unless you're a reviewer who gets bucket loads of $100+ toys every month.
Dre Merc
How about a tighter thigh joints version? It\'s an over enginneered figure with outdated finger joints design that pop off, crappy and weird wrist swivel, and thigh joints not tight enough to support its weight.
MehWave
Sorry, re-read your post and realized I misunderstood. Yes, you're right, and I'm guessing that someone has done a cost-benefit analysis that has determined that Tarn doesn't achieve ROI. Otherwise no idea as to why we haven't seen more attempts, either by HasTak or 3P.
TenScaryMonkeys
I think we can safely assume the final price is $Horrifying.00
That said, that’s a really lovely item.
MehWave
Yes, was waiting for that and their Starscream. Alas …
I don't think the MMC one is technically MP scale, though I'd be ok with it if that ends up being the only option.
General Tekno
Well, we already have two transforming Tarns. Question is if the MP scale one would sell given most MP scale stuff is G1 cartoon/toy derived.
BIOMEC
Only Gcreation and Generation Toys have attempted to make "IDW MP" so far but no Tarn yet unfortunately…
Mattymo
It’s a licensed 3rd party figure. It can’t.
MehWave
I really only collect TFs that transform, but that is an absolutely sublime figure. Gorgeous. While obviously nothing can match this sculpt for functional reasons, I wonder why more 3P companies haven\'t attempted a transforming Tarn, especially at MP scale? And likewise, since figures like Flame Toys don\'t transform, if they ever considered producing non-transforming alt modes for display purposes?

So the purples are chromed and/or brighter. Neat. If only it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get.
