3P company Shockwave Lab have shared images of their next upgrade kit: SL-53 Z-Sword for LG-EX Dai Atlas via their Weibo account.
The new Takara Tomy LG-EX Dai Atlas was sure a great new incarnation of the Autobot Supreme Commander in the Transformers Zone animation, but his signature weapon: the Z-Sword was missing on this release. Dr. Wu brings us this impressive sword to add more cartoon-accuracy to your display. As seen in the Transformers Zone anime, the Z-Sword is shaped like a big “Z” and it is formed by combining 2 individual swords. Don’t worry about storage, since the two swords can be attached in the back of Dai Atlas.
There’s not concrete information on price or release date, but Dr. Wu products don’t take much time to hit online retailers after they show their pictures. Click on the bar to check out the mirrored images on this news post and then share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

I too would like to know.
I'm actually thinking that Takara Tomy should cash in on the hype of Victory Saber and reissue the Big Powered box set, and hopefully that will prompt Shockwave Lab to reissue the add-ons.
Until then, I will keep scouring the internet to see if I can find the Z Sword kit, as I missed it the first time.

Anyone know where I can still find this?

Thanks! Will be picking up a set.

I got these
I'm not the biggest fan of the 'squint, and it looks like a weapon approach', myself. Besides, LG-EX Dai Atlas's combined wings look more like a shield to me.
I got the Shockwave Lab Z-Sword, and I absolutely recommend it to those who own Dai Atlas. I tend be wary of 3D-printed plastic, but I'm very pleased with this set. My advice – Get it while you still can. This may be the closest to a cartoon accurate Z-Sword we'll get for LG-EX Dai Atlas.

Except those things both come up whenever you want to transform Dai Atlas, especially the Headmaster which has to be removed for transformation, so you can't ignore it. The actual point is you're overly concerned with the sword being accurate to the G1 toy when the Legends toy really isn't trying to be and doesn't need to be a 100% faithful recreation.
And again, it's not that the wing sword is wrong, it's just that it's not as good of a Z-Sword when compared with the one the character uses in other media which wasn't toy accurate but is accurate to G1 in their own way. Which is why some people want to get a better one and might buy this, while if you're happy with the wings then that's fine too. End of story.
WereDragon EX
Actually, they did pretty much replicate the toy aesthetic given that the figure does actaully look like the G1 figure and so does the Z-Sword from the figure to one from the G1 figure.
Shuggaroth
Can we chill with the whole stop liking what i dont like? If you have a problem with the swords, it should be if there are quality or compatability issues, not aesthetics.
Mecheon
They're trying to make Dai Atlas, the character. They're not making a completely show accurate figure, they're not 'replicating the toy aesthetic', they're making a new figure of Dai Atlas
Also I kinda gotta argue on the "Toy aesthetic" on this given he looks close enough to Zone and doesn't, y'know, have a giant pair of immobile bricks for legs like the toy does
People want Dai Atlas' weapon from his biggest piece of fiction for his first modern transforming update in nearly 2 decades. It was that important to him even the bloody CMs Corp figure newly molded it for their action figure one. Is that honestly so surprising to you that you have to be calling people disingenuous for wanting to improve their figure? To want things they remember the character doing?
WereDragon EX
A number of figures are not strictly "show accurate", so that's hardly surprising. In any case, Takara seems to favor replicating the toy aesthetic with show colors, so their approach on the whole is hardly inaccurate.
WereDragon EX
The chain isn't really much of a thing anyway, since it's not even visible in robot mode or really, the vehicle modes. It's more for transformation than anything else. More to the point, the Headmaster can also be ignored as well since one would not even need to use it except for additional play value if they want to pull off Dai Atlas' head for whatever reason. Since the figure is an Overlord retool, it's reasonably excusable. Overall, the stuff you listed are differences that don't crop up when the figure is in robot mode, like the G1 figure. Comments on transformational differences and play value are tangential and to a point, not all that relevant, since those are changes one would expect from a newer iteration of the toy from the previous one. The point was strictly about the sword, and nothing but the sword.
But yes, buying leg fillers is rather disingenious since after all, as you say, the G1 figure didn't have them. After all, my comments are in regard to the visual faithfulness of the figure to the G1 figure. The whole point of the matter, I daresay, is that it's an incorrect assertion to say that the figure itself don't have a Z-Sword at all or that creating one from the wings is somehow "wrong".
GizmoTron
The G1 didn't have large hollowed out legs that needed filling out, either. So is buying leg fillers also not "disingenious"?
Besides, the original G1 toy's trappings didn't include having a Headmaster, and wasn't two halves held together by a flimsy chain, and these guys should have been given Micromaster partners since that was a big part of the Zone toyline, so aren't those things also Takara being "disingenious" with their recreation here? Or is it just the sword that has to stay 100% faithful?
You really should make a checklist so we know what inaccuracies are OK and which ones are not.

received mine from TFSAFARI,while my Dai atlas is still on the way, the color is kind of a little bit more silver as shown on Shockwave Lab’s photo. Details are perfect anyway.

And hilariously inaccurate to the animation
I think it is fair to say more people know Dai Atlas from the Zone animation and the manga pages that have been online for years, plus his IDW version, than those who know him from his exceptionally rare G1 figure.
WereDragon EX
Well, it pretty much is disingenious, since the figure replicates the trappings of the G1 toy quite well, and is accurate to said toy.
GizmoTron
Not really since this isn't the original G1 toy and many people prefer something that's more accurate to the anime and manga.
WereDragon EX
Maybe, maybe not. It does seem terribly disingenuous to go and purchase a Z-Sword for the figure when it already comes with one that is accurate to the original G1 toy to begin with.
Shuggaroth
I dont know how recently this kit has come out, but it is on Ebay, currently.

That matte silver should be the final color. Anyway there might be some difference from the real color and the photo. Anyway now we have very limited information on this.

I do wonder if u can order unpainted versions, then maybe paint it yourself. They are 3D printed after all.
