BBCW website has updates their listings with new stock images of the Transformers: Cyberverse – Power Of The Spark Ultimate Class Grimlock & 1-Step Changer Shockwave And Skybite to share with you. We had seen the official renders of these figures while back from Toyfair 2019.
Ultimate class Grimlock will be released as part of the “Power Of The Spark” subline this year. Similar in size to a Leader class modern toy. It features a ” Seismic Stomp” action attack gimmick.
Shockwave and Skybite are part of the upcoming Cyberverse 1-Step Changers Wave 5, which is also released under the “Power Of The Spark” collection. Both simple and easy-to-transform toys feature their own gimmick.
According to both listings, these toys should be out by August this year. Click on the bar to see the images after the jump and then let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

is their a release date for these guys? I am particularly looking to get GNAW
SaberPrime
Was not expecting the Scraplet to transform at all. It's not much of a transformation as it's basically one of those "Just stand the figure up" type transformations but considering I thought this would just be a static figure with a moving jaw and maybe possible legs I guess the robot mode is OK… Never going to display it that way though.

I like the Megatron robot mode, but… everything else is awful.
If not for the budget-price constraints on this, I think the concept is good and execution bad. I mean, it's pretty hard to make a masterpiece with just 2 pieces of chalk.
This toyline is proof that Hasbro is struggling to sell Transformers. They can't up the quality because the demand isn't there, imo. Cheap, quick, and better margins? These little toys must make the company so little money, but I imagine they continue them to keep the brand fresh on shelves.
I keep hoping these Cyberverse releases will get better, but… I think the next line is bound to be worse somehow. Hasbro? GET ON IT!

I wonder if the armored-up Megatron will be Cyberverse Galvatron.
Blitz.
top half of Battle trap and the lower half of Fly Wheels… so a repaint as FlyTrap or Battle Wheels?

That Grimlock is just an amazing toy
Murasame
Amazing how Hasbro fights counterfeit knock off toys from China by making them themselves
It's actually sad.
I mean, OK, if this is only 5 bucks I won't complain. But probably they want more like 10 for this.
TAAO
Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to appear defensive. I guess I overlooked the memo that stated your opinion was the only one that matters.
KraegorStark
I have not felt the need to buy any of the ultimate classes…until I saw that Grimlock.
Predakwon
Man, first thing I thought of as well.
I dunno, I can't complain about these. Whether or not I have the energy to, or they're just so cheap…
MrSoundmeister
Huh, funny that they won't release those Spark Armor figures without the armor as the new Scout and Warrior class figures, they seem to show alot more promise than the regular cyberverse molds.

You got so defensive you missed the point entirely, add "reading comprehension" to your List Of Grow Up Things and try again.

Megatron picked out his Halloween costume early this year…
Requiem Prime
Given the fire truck is more of a shout-out amidst the core line it may be a while before they get the "must be G1 adjacent" out of their system.
Whovian Zorker
Even better: a flying Batmobile, versus a flying fire truck. (I really wish I had preordered the Siege version from Target….)
Don't get me wrong: I've been enjoying Transformers since 1984, and G1 is still my favorite continuity. But that doesn't mean I haven't found a lot to like in the other stuff as well.
SG Roadbuster
That really drives 'em Insaaaaaanee.
remember when we got wacky shit like Megatrons that turned into Batmobiles, and cartoons that didnt have Bumblebee in every episode? and Optimus Primes that weren't cab over engine semis. those were the days

And it's the pelvic thruuu-uuust!
