Thanks to 2005 Boards member Rookbartley for sharing photographic proof of the Transformers Authentics Bravo 5″ Grimlock found At US Retail.
We knew about this new 5″ Authentics Grimlock mold (not to be confused with the bigger Authentics Alpha 7″ Grimlock) for the first time via an unexpected sighting in the Australian market. This new toy brings us a detailed and simple G1-styled Grimlock with a transformation similar to the G1 toy. Sadly, it has no real arms in the dinosaur mode since they are just molded on the body.
This small and fun Grimlock toy was spotted at a Dollar General store outside Kalamazoo, Michigan for only $5.00.

found Grimlock at Walgreens for $6.99…I think I must have gotten the other four last year (at Walgreens as well) during the holidays because I didn't even remember and scooped up all the characters they had and then got home and found the ones from last year…

For AU$10 the 7" Authentic are very good value for money.
I bought the 7" Grimlock and the 7" Optimus for $10 each. I feel like I got my money's worth out of both of them.
Where else are you getting a Voyager-sized transformable bot for that price?

Thanks to Ozformers site, I was able to pick these up at my local Woolies for my nephew. $10 (at half price) a pop hit the sweet spot.
I’m waiting for the 5” Authentics to go on clearance…

Ditto. And yeah, he's probably the best of the 7" figures with Megatron being a close second.

I've seen them at several Family Dollars, so they're getting a bit more coverage.
It's a good figure for what it is.

The 7” version actually looks pretty good, it’s a shame their so damn hard to find in stores.
Shattered Trousers
They aren't shelfwarming in the two Woolworths' near me so much as they're selling out and quickly being restocked.
The 7" ones only showed up once before Christmas, again at Woolies, as part of a pre-filled cardboard promotional display. They all sold within the first two days, not surprising as they were the same price as the 5" ones, and haven't shown up anywhere since.
It's a bit disappointing, really, I'd like a chance to nab one of those 7" Megatrons.

Wouldn't take much to repaint him into Classic Pretender Grimlock.

Pass.

I found out about this figure off the tfwiki and was able to snag it off ebay months ago. Here\'s my review that I did at the time.

These 5” Authentics are badly shelfwarming in Australia at AUD$10 (approx. USD$7). Surprisingly, it’s the 7” Authentics that are harder to find.

Reporting new releases in the News & Rumors forum might help, since the news staff probably doesn't regularly check the discussions in 50 state sightings threads and the Feedback & Reviews sub-forum for potential first sightings that slipped through the cracks.

Posted a review of this back in February when I found it at BigLots…

Found at Five Below in Oshkosh in December as well. Apparently came and went REAL fast.

I found it at a Five Below in San Dimas last December, but was unable to provide photographic proof. I'm glad little Grimlock has been found again!

View attachment 28282885 i know this has been found abroad and some members in different sub-forums have mentioned it, but I wanted to give photographic proof of this on shelves. I found this at a Dollar General outside Kalamazoo, MI. Much like the larger Authentics Megatron, if a post isn’t made, some members might not know of it’s existence. It looked like the Dollar General I was at just replenished this size class as well. Multiple Grimlocks were there. $5.
