We’ve also got some images of the Studio Series Deluxe Wave 7 to share with you. Wave 7 of the Deluxes features a helicopter version of Drift seen in Transformers Age of Extinction, a car version of Dropkick from last year’s Bumblebee movie, and the Constructicon Hightower from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. It’s a varied mix for sure, with a nice, accurate looking depiction of Drift and a slightly less accurate Dropkick (though much closer than last year’s helicopter design). The standout is looking to be Hightower, whose unconventional and monstrous robot form looks uncomfortable within the confines of his box – won’t you buy him and set him free?
These images come to you once again via In Demand Toys on Facebook. Check out a mirror of the images attached to this post.
Update – care of Forbidden Planet we have some new stock images of Drift and Hightower – Hightower is certainly shaping up to be the highlight of this assortment.

Yeah, WJ OSKO Arcee is pretty big. I can’t get to my copy right now, but here’s some side by side screen shots, courtesy of Emgo:

It’s not as good as a real life pic, but in this case I think Generations Arcee does a decent job of providing scale for reference.
Hope that helps!

Siege springer probably scales significantly better with the t30 arcee, the weijiang one is more or less masterpiece scale isn’t it?
JeremyGui
Does anybody know if Siege Springer scales well with Wei Jiang OSKO Arcee? Pictures would be much appreciated

I did the face swap with Starscream. They both look so much better.

I would not be surprised if it was "Buster."

These shots of Thundercracker & Springer together confused me when the first showed up as they're now known to be in split cases, with the case together cancelled

I notice today that EE appear to have the case with Thundercracker in stock now

I think, like with Thundercracker you need to see them with other figures. Just to see how they mash. Particular for Springer is Arcee and your Ultra Magnus. If they work it is good.
thundercracker looks so nice with Starscream.

Hmm…. I was reluctant on buying that Firestormer Pack since I care little for G2 figures. But I just might end up swapping the heads of Red Alert and G2 Sideswipe just like my plans for Starscream and the upcoming Thundercracker.
IMO, this face just looks better on Red Alert:
Meanwhile Slamdance could be part of my "Moonbase 2" faction with Blaster as commander if they ever make a new Voyager class version (I really don't like the FOC one anymore).

Reflector is all kinds of awesome (I even like him rolled up into a cube).
Brunt seems to be shaping up as the best of three armor bots (that alternate/fan mode looks like something from Beast Machines).
Springer looks great, though I am not sure about that green though, it’s a bit too ‘toyish’ for my preferences for Springer. But I’ll make judgement once I have him in hand and paired up with the rest.
Thundercracker and Red are remolds of excellent figures. Bot modes look great, but I think they're less effective in altmode than SS and SS. Not sure I need them (though the prospect of having 3 tetrajets lined up together on stands is enticing).

Excited for this springer even though i love the generstions one. They are nailing the head sculpts in this line imo.
This is a more g1 version. Bring it

Generations Springer was pretty amazing. Overall, he looked great and he came at a time when it felt like they were really cutting back, yet Springer came out and was large, complex, and had a great color scheme.
That being that, I don't really see these two figures competing. I know they're both Springer, but they're two very different styles. Just saying, as a fan of Springer, I'm happy to have both representations in my collection.
