Cortesy of Newsarama we can share for you our first 3-page preview of the upcoming Transformers / Ghostbusters #1.
This is the first issue of a 5-part mini-series which will debut in June. What will happen when Gozer Meets Megatron? You can see it by yourself after the jump, including a new fantastic cover showcasing the Ghostbusters against the ghost of Starscream by artist Andrew Griffith with colors by Thomas Deer.

very nice

Oh that cover is beautiful. Also that megatron is totally referenced off MP-36. He’s got the leg panel lines and the barrel gap on his back.

You know, this Energon toy might make a good repaint as Ectotron:
–
That, or maybe the head could be used and repainted, so that he's got a visor and more visable set of eyes.

In the OG Ghostbusters movie, Gozer says the the Traveler will come in the form of first thing the Busters think of, so if I thought of a naked 90 yr old Pamela Anderson, a giant naked 90 yr old Pamela Anderson would come and destroy us. Ray thought of Stay Puft, something from his childhood that he thought would never hurt them, and Starscream would of course choose Starscream

Actually his pick of Skyfire doesnt make sense either. Think about it. These Deceptacons never left Cybertron, so they never went to Earth, never found Skyfire, and Sky never betrayed Starscream…
But it's a fun detail despite this so I dont really care.

Awesome! I love Clayton Crain’s art Marvel!
Tetratron
I recall in the G1 cartoon episodes intoducing the Combaticons, Starscream complained a lot about and didn't work well with
Shockwave.
And in Prime where the two didn't get along all that well also.
Pichomp
Loving this Clayton Crain cover from the Dallas FanExpo.

Yup, that ghost looked like a Quintesson
BB Shockwave
The humans look like terrible caricatures. Ray (or at least I think it is Ray, hard to tell with them all having the same hair color and uniform unlike in the cartoon) has a head like a neanderthal and a permanent \"DUUUUUH\" expression. And why is Slimer turning into Chtulhu?

Having read the Ghostbusters run I can confirm that there are some people with chins, (mostly the women and Peck). Personally I think the art style lends itself to the idea that the Ghostbusters are middle aged.
I am definitely a fan of the art style though, I'm not 100% sure how I would have felt about the Ghostbusters comics if they had been drawn in a more realistic style myself.
Nemisispath
Thought he looked familiar.

Isn\'t much of a preview, and more of the Ghostbusters doing what they do.

Megastar
I think that's who it's meant to be.
Novaburnhilde
Heeeey, that ghost looks familiar.

(that would be a 'yes' to the non-added dialogue boxes)
Chins. Whoever drew this needs practice with chins. And yes, I know it's a style. But it's a chin-less style. Or perhaps it's a chin-chin situation.
Also, is it bad that I want the five part series so it can go with the Ecto bot when he arrives? Even with chins, or lack of chins?
Gzstg
Is that a ghostly Quintesson? defiantly looks like one.

I'm super confused: are we still at the point where they haven't added the dialogue and text boxes, or are they going LEGO Star Wars on us?
