After the unexpected closing of Machinima’s YouTube channel, the trio of Prime Wars Trilogy shows: Combiner Wars, Titans Return, and Power of the Primes seemed to be gone for fans to watch them.
Fortunately, the three seasons (including the 4 preludes) are now available for streaming via RoosterTeeth.com. The shows may not have been the best we have seen so far, but without a physical release there was no chance for new fans to watch and experience the series for themselves. A different format and storytelling which brought us the first animated appearance of Overlord and Victorion in a US cartoon and a different take on Megatron’s role in a Transformers story.
Fans have now the opportunity to give the shows a chance and give proper feedback out them.

It was hard to complain about it being bad when I could watch it for free, but we have to buy a subscription to watch it now.
And rooster teeth is just as bad as go90 programming wise. There's nothing else to watch, so there's no way to justify paying.
They should've put it on Netflix. If it were cheap they could sell it physically or even digitally on Amazon or YouTube.

TRANSFORMERS on Instagram: “Transformers Prime Wars Trilogy is now available on @RoosterTeeth! Download the app or visit go.hasb.ro/2F4VE6B to watch the digital series.”

Anything's possible, but they should have kept everyone involved with the Prime Wars shows FAR away.

Jesus christ my ears!
Hope and pray that some kind of miracle happens and the upcoming Netflix show turns out half decent.

Good I needed a new way to punish my children.

For me, that's these shows' biggest failings. They were positioned to be a "grown up" version of the story, and all of the marketing played into this, but bad plot and bad scripts meant it was ironically far more vapid and childish than RiD, which knew exactly what it was.
Like I have said before, I don't have much faith in the upcoming WFC:S show either. I haven't watched GenLock but RWBY has not flourished in Rooster Teeth's hands (though I have heard some people say that Volume 6 is getting a little better… I'm not sure I can believe that just yet. And I'm not wasting my time watching it right now).

There's no subtitles, and it works fine on mobile, but they've mislabeled season 2 (it's actually season 3) and vise versa.
Berser Car
Oh, these things are back. Nice.
Does that site have subtitles/close caption? And does it work well on mobile?

You know you messed up bad when your tf show gets unfavorable comparisons to energon.
Xaxis
And with that as its goal, it failed miserably. I saw enough by watching a couple of early episodes to know that it’s incredibly bad and a huge waste of time.
SPLIT LIP
Smart guy. You’d literally be wasting your time.
The Machinima series aren’t even ironically bad. They’re just bad bad. I get more enjoyment out of watching Energon. At least that is nearly comical in its pure nonsense. The Wars trilogy was meant for adult fans.
Xaxis
Nope. Not gonna click that play button!
samisham
It gets so much worse.
Xaxis
Actually, I do have some idea. I attempted to watch the first couple of episodes but it hurt so much I had to stop. I watched some G1 to help myself recover.
samisham
You have no idea.

GOOSCREAM!!!

That’s exactly what I mean. Poor voice direction and low-bar production value resulted in a waste of talent.
Here’s hoping that the new series delivers on the level of gen:LOCK.
Issy543
They got Ron Peralman to voice Optimus Primal and Mark Hamill to voice Megatronus in Power Of The Primes. Neither of them really sound like they were very enthusiastic when they were voicing these characters.
Xaxis
Wow… that’s… um… ouch.
I can almost hear the terribly written and stiffly delivered dialogue just by looking at those screenshots.
It’s a shame that some truly good voice talent was wasted on those productions.

I honestly keep forgetting that was a show that was actually made in real life by actual people and keep assuming it was a fever dream I had after an idw binge a few blows to the head.
