The War For Cybertron: Siege toys are coming in hot in the US. 2005 Boards member LegoTFGuy is giving us the heads up that the War For Cybertron: Siege Wave 2 Voyager Class has been sighted At US Retail.
This wave brings us Starscream and Soundwave in their most recent incarnations for this collection. Both figures were spotted at Walmart in Central Iowa for $29.84 each one.
Happy hunting!

My Walmart has looked like this for about 4 months. 2 pegs of BotBots and that's it. So I doubt I'll see any Siege stuff anytime soon.

For what it's worth, they've made their way to the east coast. Picked up Starscream and Soundwave at a Walmart in Northern Virginia today.

Well when you can't find any new toys in February because you bought all the previous stuff back at the beginning of January…
But isn't it funny how new stuff tends to show up at the same times and we go through the same cycles every year? It's March now and people are buying new toys, so yeah, get ready for April and "where's my Wave 3 at? Hasbro sucks!" posts.
RKillian
Here we go with the excuses. It's bad in January because after Christmas. It's bad in February because winter. It's bad in April because taxes. It's bad in May because school's letting out. It's bad in July because everybody's on vacation. It's bad in September because school's starting. It's bad in November because Christmas resets. Did I miss any?

I don't know, I think you can "document" and post photos of every Wal-Mart toy section in the whole country if it makes you happy, but what are you going to prove? That February is a crappy time for toy hunting? Cause everyone already knows that. I can't remember a time when that wasn't true.
I mean distribution is far from perfect, but it is what it is, every store doesn't and often can't get the same product at the same time, and the stores won't necessarily have new stuff every time you go just because you go, but whatever. That doesn't mean you just give up and hunker down on the forums to declare it's impossible to find things, especially when after all these years we have Brickseek, the sightings forums, and all the other cheater tools available to the toy collector today at our disposal.
BTW, here's one from my closest Wal-Mart for your collection.
Oh hey, there's the Wave 2 Deluxes, neat… but no Voyagers yet, still gotta hunt them down. Darn Hasbro distribution.

My arm tabs in just fine. Someone from my local FB group reported the same arm issue you are. So it may be hit and miss with that?
PrimalFury
Does the left arm on your Soundwave tab in securely in robot mode? in reviews online, the right arm didnt peg in very well and im wondering if its a flaw in most if not all Soundwave figures similar to the megatron ankle issue.
Scourgatron
Found both of them yesterday. Just couldn't bring myself to buy them. I was amped for Tetra jets but, SS doesn't look that great in person.

You, and not just you but all of you do realize that it's still the first quarter, a historical bad time for finding new toys. Most of the stuff we see in January is stuff that did not make it in time for the end of the year Holidays, then we get a dry spell until early to mid spring. aside from that there are options for getting all of the Siege wave one and much of wave two online.
MelodiousGiant04
Found wave2 voyagers and deluxes in Missouri today.

Would you like me to post more photos? In the last 6 days, I've been to a Walmart in Harrisburg, a Target in Highspire, and a KMart in Elizabethtown (in addition to the Walmart in Palmyra). However, I've been to (and often documented) around 20 stores across Dauphin, Lancaster, and York counties and they all look alike for the most part.
Really, if every store within a 50 mile radius looked like this, would you waste the time driving even further? Or would you just be "lazy" and wonder WTF is up with distribution?

I was already sold on getting both figures but those super clear shots of Soundwave really, really show what great sculpt that is. I know some people don't like the greeble aesthetic (I have mixed feelings on it) but on this Soundwave it looks great. I cannot wait for my pre-order to arrive!

Lol all we got over here are the G1 minibots
TheGrognard
NYC has complete garbage for retail transformers. All that's in Targets is the kid's stuff and Studio series.
Maxxion
Challenge accepted. Washington State doesn't have them yet.

Good luck navigating through all the cornfields to find my house!

I'm not saying it's great, but it's looking better than RKillian's 2 Micromasters.
Purple Heart
It’s literally just 2 Flywheels and 2 Megatrons. Both of which are from the 2 cases my Walmart first put out when they got Siege. They’ve been there for 2 months, it’s looked like that for 2 months.
GizmoTron
Neato, but you do know there's more than just those two Wal-Marts in PA, right?
RKillian
That's what I was thinking. I've seen a Cog and a Flywheels at different ends of the county so far.
