Care of Snakas Blog, we have our first in-hand images of the War For Cybertron: Siege Micromasters Wave 2 Laserbeak & Ravage And Red Heat & Stakeout.
These little but cool toys prove to be very detailed and fun to play with and interact with bigger figures. Laserbeak comes in his classic condor mode, inspired by his first Cybertronian appearance in the G1 cartoon. Ravage keeps the jaguar alt mode. Both of them transform into “Drone Armors“, to be used as small shields for the bigger figures, but they still look like cassettes in some way.
Red Heat and Stakeout, the Rescue Patrol, come back with their classic police car and fire truck modes. Both can combine into the “Binerboost Salvage Blaster” to be used for the rest of the Siege figures.
Check out all the images, including the interaction with Siege Optimus Prime after the jump, and the sound off on the 2005 Boards!

does anybody know why the Autobot Rescue Patrol set (Red Heat & Stakeout) is double priced ($19.99) on hasbropulse's website?
Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Siege Micromaster WFC-S19 – Hasbro Pulse
…is that a price mistake? 'cuz the Soundwave Spy Patrol set (Laserbeak & Ravage) is properly priced at $9.99:

I think he said KO G1.

What's the Ravage all the way on the right? Looks like G1 but a blueish tail?

The most interesting thing to me are the unit/ rank symbols on the cards. The Rescue Patrol are Ground Force Infantry Privets.
Ravage and Laserbeak are both "Raiders" in rank one is Ground Force, presumibly Ravage. Laserbeak's Division is unknown but most likely Air Force, it's the same as on the Air Strike Patrol. Both Ravage and Laserbeak are of an unknown unit.

Well, I think that answers the size question. MP cassettes won't fit with this Soundwave.View attachment 28178346

I can't speak for everyone, but I don't currently have any CHUG Soundwave figures. I thought about getting that Target exclusive version of the TR Soundwave but decided to wait for this guy instead.

Thanks mate.
I've no attachments to Stakeout but Holi is all kinds of YES for me.

I wish, but nothing yet.
Of course Holi got his toy colors in Zone so…………..

Been awhile since I last posted so are there any information of us getting Holi from the Stakeout mold?
This I mean:

I love me some Emergency Micromasters. The weapon mode doesn't look impressive, but individually, they look nice. And I think I just did an about face on Laserbeak and Ravage. Initially I was planning on passing on these guys but they look alot better than the TR versions. Ravage might look like he has a huge appetite for Lasagna but he looks way better than the MP3/Jet version from TR. Now I might have to get Siege Soundwave afterall…

I wasn't comparing them in terms of one being an MP product and expecting the other to measure up. I was comparing them because this Ravage's beast mode is horrendous and I was hoping the tape size was the same as all the other previous tapes so I could replace him with a better looking option. Of course, if they are one could definitely use Generations Ravage, but if we're going to be mixing and matching, you might as well pick the better looking tape cat anyway.

This set is Generations and a ‘cybertron’ themed deco. They don’t compare to a product that was MP and directly designed as earth mode G1. If you said classics Ravage was better, that’s more comparable.

Definite buy for both sets. Laserbeak looks great & Ravage looks adorable. Both rescue vehicles look great too.

I have a feeling Soundwave will be a lot different in the hands of a collector and actually have a better alt mode, or at least a better fan-modded one.
Trevor Belmont
Just one with a proper alt mode.
I didn't care for a cassette player bigger than my entire shelf
Now I don't care for an ugly flying brick..
Seriously, what were they thinking?
"We can't label this dude a transformer unless he actually transforms"
"well then, let's do this!" *Shows flying brick
"Well I guess there's no evidence in transformers literature that Cybertron has an atmosphere so yeah, why not? I like it"
I'm hoping for a BB SS Soundwave with ravage and/or Lazerbeak that transforms into an earth vehicle
Or a deluxe class DotM Soundwave with Lazerbeak
