Apparently the disc has been released in Korea. According to the one thread, they're known for getting those releases early. This seems a tad early, though…
That said, tickets cost maybe $10-15 and it's partially going to theaters, while disc sales are $20-30 and will primarily end up in the company's hands some way. More so than they would at the theater.
Hopefully, Bumblebee's a success, because this isn't the greatest sign. =\

Just received an email update from Amazon.
I can't believe this is accurate, but here it is:

So, if this is correct, it'll be February 5th.
The listing also says "Temporarily out of stock" when they usually have a release date, so I'm guessing the discs are on their way to Amazon, if not there already.
If this is real, that's a really short theater run window.

No 3D release? Looks like it\'ll be another import from China, EU, or India. (Go figure – there are sellers in India that cater to North American buyers nowadays). Though sometimes the UK or French release gets you a 3D + 4K package all in, which is a good bonus. Or wait a tiny bit and Amazon EU will put it on crazy discount (2/3/4 for ridciulously cheap – cheaper than buying locally)

Already preordered DVD/Blu-Ray pack with Christmas gift cards.

And pre-ordered! Luckily my CC had enough points saved from other purchases, so it cost me nothing!

I’ll just Download it digitally to my PS4 as I have Transformers 2007 and DOTM on it but I do have TLK on DVD.I recently pre-order Spider-Man Into The Spider-verse aswell.

I usually just wait for the physical release, so no need to preorder for me. Still, it\'s nice to see.

Will be happy with youtube\'s Tf only scenes.

DVDsreleasedates.com says the film is estimated to release in March.

A lot of years ago the norm for video release was usually about 6 months after the movie was in theaters. About 10 years ago up to now its usually about 4 months difference for physical disc releases. In the last few years digital first releases have happened before the physical copies usually about 1-2 weeks before the discs release. Most likely BB will have a digital only release around the middle of april, while dvd, Blu-ray disc will release around the 3rd or last week of april or at most first week of may

I\'m getting the Target Exclusive if they have one.

I've seen it in 3D twice, thought it was solid and feel the need to have that option available in the future. Don't deny us Bumblebee on 3D Bluray Paramount!
There's like 4 different 2d options here ffs! Never mind that 3D is a backwards compatible format that can be authored to play in 2d on 2d systems.

If it were up to the studios and production companies, home releases would be a month after the theatrical release.

It's a shame that they abandoned 3D, rather than making it for selective releases and continuing to develop the format. I think it was overdone and sometimes awful, but it would be nice to have the choice.
Either way, I'm buying this the second it releases. I stopped buying after AOE, which I only bought after skipping the theatrical release, and at this point I'm ready to toss that one too. Reeeeally hope BB does well and Hasbro moves forward with the Knight universe as a reboot.

I haven’t bought a transformers movie since DOTM but I’ll buy this!
