The options are:
- Perceptor

I never really like the full plastic construction of blaster. He just never felt like he was part of the same toyline to me. I'd be more interested in his tapes than him to be honest. Might buy one and just leave it in the back in tape deck mode though.
Blackout32
I want a scorponok reissue and maybe a galvatron i could name more but WHY. With Blaster coming i hope we get his full cassettes as well.
RoDu
Minibots! Give me more minibots!
stad
I always just saw him as a bigger bot than Soundwave. Which is surprising, considering that I've always cared about scale, when it comes to figures in relation to one another.
Automorpher
Used to think that Dinobots reissues were pipe dreams…
Not anymore since the Dino cassettes proved most of us wrong.
Keep hoping…I know I am but we could be pleasantly surprised…Who knows for sure right?
Bossnine
I hope it is blaster….
I have my OG one as well but have always like the character and the toy.
Thundershot
I’m surprised TT hasn’t put out a four pack of the dino cassettes yet in Encore.
I don’t usually get reissues, but I would buy the remaining cassettes (1988 combiners) if they’d reissue them.
Humpski
Gonna skip Blaster. Never liked how out of scale he was with everyone else.
G1 Cassette Hunter
Blaster was the vote winner & likely next in line. If he follows Soundwave's schedule from last year, expect him with a Fall MOD Reset for Christmas/Halloween in September/October.
Gumblor Gimbles
So what do you think will happen when Hasbro switches to non-plastic packaging? Will they keep making reissues with original packaging?
OmegaTaco Supreme
I saw him at Walmart the other day for $35
They will keep recycling the same figures. Most of the one people want had their molds lost or they don't want to deal with licensing
80sboy4
I will think it's going to be Blaster, surprised we didn't see anything about the reissues at Toy Fair.
Skywarp181
So whos next now that Astrotrain has been released

That so-called "common sense" ignores that the costs of producing something that hasn't yet been reissued are almost certainly quite a bit higher than the costs of producing something previously reissued. It's not just about design, but about refurbishment (maybe even recreation) of the old molds. And what the KO folks have done/can do often bears little connection to what Hasbro can get away with.
Unless that is acknowledged, there's really nothing else to engage with in this discussion.
WishfulThinking
Examples? Aside from Grimlock, Sunstreaker and Wheeljack that are missing or borked and Shockwave which transforms into the unspeakable horror that is a toy gun (and may also be missing or borked).
Afterburner
It's common sense that there is much more money to be made from something that hasn't been reissued than something that has, because there are still several top tier characters/figures that have never been re-released. It's a simple way to make money without having to even worry about the design process at all. Use the old packaging, use the old toy, and you're done. The KO Reissues have been flowing for years – serious demand is very obvious, especially for vintage packaging. Big business tends to overthink things that are so simple because they pay a lot of people a lot of money and if they aren't changing or messing with something, what are they doing? It's a trap.

I think we can all expect a few more surprises in the upcoming years , seeing as how G1 has become such a thing , that even Walmart is cashing in , not to mention , Hasbro saying they have a few surprises for us in relation to the upcoming BW anniversary. I for one truly look forward to seeing it all .
WishfulThinking
Yeah, it's not that Hasbro won't do it. It's more about it being a financially sound decision. Both aping off of TT's Encore releases and focusing on more popular characters is generally a safer route to take. The risk on the dinocassettes was well calculated into being convention exclusives. My hope is that Hasbro saw that as successful and is willing to do more of that at future conventions – of which would be the only reasonable place I'd expect such a set as Monstructor to ever rear his ugly mug.

Indeed, this is why the dinocassettes last year came as such a shock. Hasbro not only made the first move, but apparently had to actively recreate the molds, not just rediscover and/or refurbish them.

Would also need to fix the problem with the Pretender shells turning to goo….
