Via Amazon Australia, we have a cavalcade of new stock images of upcoming Transformers Cyberverse toys from future One Step, Ultra and Ultimate assortments. These images include the new One Step versions of Optimus Prime, Megatron and Bumblebee – the latter actually resembling his look on Cyberverse this time rather than recycling a Robots in Disguise One Step. The One Steps are rounded out by Prowl in his first One Step release. The Ultras are represented by Optimus Prime and Slipstream, with Slipstream modeling a very cool yet blocky aesthetic. Lastly the Ultimate size class features another version of Bumblebee, this time the biggest version in the line whose left arm seems to be half the front of the vehicle in a decision that gives Bumblebee his signature stinger arm cannon.

I just zoomed in on Slipstream's knees and…
she DOES NOT have knee joints, her only leg joints are her hips and ankles. So it looks as though Cyberverse Ultra Class Slipstream has very limited posable legs.
I do not know if I will get this version or Takara Tomy's Legends LG-16 version, which is a repaint/retool of Generations deluxe Windblade.

Can't wait to get those ultras

Uh… Say what you will about Beast Machines but Transformers: Animated was an engineering marvel!
Everyone who talked shit about how they were going to make "toonified" toon accurate robots transform (myself included) had to eat a lot of crow once those toys started coming in.
At the same time, I really don't know why you guys expect Masterpiece or 3P level of quality on a toy line that's clearly targeted for a VERY young demographic. Especially when you still have the Masterpiece and 3P alternative, not to mentions such offerings as Siege.
Don't buy them if you don't like them, but if you don't understand why Hasbro is catering to the brand's core developmental market then what are you guys even into toys for??
Also, finally!! A Slipstream that doesn't suck or cost a small fortune.

Slipstream doesn't look bad. Hope she has knees….if not I still have my legends slipstream I just want one with her own mold

I like Slipstream, If she has knees then ill get her.

I might pick up Prowl for his car mode only, but I will definitely pick up Slipstream

Oh he’s serious going by him saying pretty much the same thing in the past.
Pravus Prime
That looks like a shockingly decent Slipstream. I don't care about the Cyberverse toyline or series, but a good Slipstream is always welcome.
Plus it looks surprisingly well articulated for what it is.

So would that make him Ultraman Diner?

Slipstream looks so nice in these photos. I agree with @Feralstorm and will probably buy her despite her seeming lack of knees. At least she has elbows. Ultra Shadow Striker didn't even have those (which basically makes her a glorified $20 Battlecharger).

If course G1 toys were “cheap garbage” in comparison to today’s Generations toys. It was the 80s after all; and we loved them all the same. The Mini-Bots were to fulfill the lowest price point with the combiner limbs being the next price point up.
The Duocons, Battlechargers and Jumpstarters were focused around their gimmick which was genuinely fun back then. And I don’t know why fans are quick to criticise the Jumpstarters for their simplicity; they have as much articulation and transformation steps as Windcharger, only of a larger size due to their gimmick.

Hope they make Thundercracker, Nova storm, Thrust and Acid storm too

Thinking back to G1, there were a lot of shitty toys that insulted my intelligence when I was a kid. The Autobot mini cars were a huge "WTF???" for me. And all the combiner limbs were too tiny & looked like cheap garbage. And the Duocons, Jumpstarters & Battlechargers come to mind. Then there's that garbage called Beast Machines & Transformers:Animated. And G2 was a huge insult, WTF were they thinking? Those colors!

I have wanted a slipstream for ages .
I mistakingly bought cyberverse Starscreams ( the half former and the next size up – i cant remember the new classes ) . The half former makes me feel completely disappointed despite its nice looking robot mode . The larger one has wings that split and flop about making it look rubbish in both bot and jet mode .
Orginally i wanted to get a seeker army in different colours from cyberverse but the poor quality has now put me off .
This one step slipstream looks like it might be more solid so if i see it in the shops i may buy her .
Feralstorm
I'll probably get Slipstream, even though it looks unlikely that she has any knees.
For me Cyberverse is a pretty disappointing line even by "but it's for young kids!" standards, but the Ultra guys are my favorites, at least of the ones I have. They aren't any more poseable than the other size classes, but they're nice and chunky/sturdy/fun in ways the smaller warrior class toys aren't.

Is it sad that I really like that Megatron because I really like that Megatron.

Thanks. Thats what I was hoping. Was thinking Slipstream might fit well enough along the Seige Seekers. The differing aesthetics aside anyway.
