Via Weibo user TF-Factory we have some great in-hand 360 View photos of Studio Series SS-29 Dark of The Moon Sideswipe.
This new mold is based on the Corvette Stingray convertible mode of Sidewipe in Dark Of The Moon film. You can check out the figure from all angles, so you can have your own impressions on this new mold. The figure is definitively movie-accurate and we can see that the kibble and backpack have been managed well.
Click on the bar to check all the mirrored images after the jump. Are you willing to add this new mold into your collection? Are you keeping the original Deluxe DOTM mold? Let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

I like how the backpack is handled in the video. I also like that the weapons have a place in the alt mode, but does anyone know if it can store them in bot mode?
I want to get one & almost want to get a second to repaint as a movieverse Roadrage.

Personally, I think this shows that despite the panel lines – Sidearm Sideswipe had the right idea about the transformation.

Oh. The swords partsform. Okay. I guess that makes sense. Not a huge fan of that but whatever.
Some really good ideas hampered by too much kibble. The transformation for the back half of the car is great, then it gets to the hood and headlights that have nowhere good to go, and that mucks it all up. A shame.
Feels like a good template for a potential MPM, assuming they can use the higher budget to handle the kibble better.
(Also, I find it kind of funny that the DOTM car had painted rims and an unpainted body, while this one has unpainted rims and a painted body.)

Doesn't look like a shellformer.

Imagine the kibble if this was the RotF version
xD
Xkcer Man
Look at the size of the pins. It appears to be pretty small.

I hope whoever makes the OSKO makes the hood collapsible.
Lazerwave
I still wish it were the ROTF car.

I was going to get 2 , but decided i might pick 1 up

So much for the clean wheel feet of Sidearm SS – and there goes my love for this mold.
Still, I may grab it on a bad day…

I'm pretty sure these photos are very washed out and poorly lit.
You can see from the reflection off of the back assembly that this will have way more color in hand than in the photo.
I really dont think it'll look as drastic as these particular photos let on.

Sideswipe is….okay. Wish he was more silver then this. I will pick him up but I'd like a more silver finish.
As sideswipe is one of my favorite characters its great that are getting both this and the seige version.
Paxtin
They look to be on ball joints at the very least.

Are the back wings still adjustable? I saw them folded out on some produt shots a while back.
Looks like a pretty good rendition of Rotf Sideswipe, but I guess we\'ll just have to wait and see whether this thing meets our expectations.

I’m pretty sure Alita kicks his ass at motor ball.
Gepard
We all know that's a lie.

Another Sidearm Sideswipe adherent. How is it this SS version is less car but seems to have more backpack kibble then ever before? It's probably smaller than Sidearm too.
I was excited when this was first announced, but now back to 'searching ebay for the plain gray one.

I haven't owned a deluxe of movie Sideswipe for a while, but didn't the the backpack fold up at the windshield? I may be thinking of the Human Alliance version, which to me is my preferred scale for him.

This is going to be Jazz-sized, isn’t it?
