Via Shockwave Lab Weibo we have images of their next project: Shockwave Lab SL- 40 Display Unit Board Kit. This kit is a modular display floor that includes 24 hexagonal black pieces and 60 fasteners. A single piece fits Titan Masters of figures of similar size, then you can use your creativity to connect the pieces and create floors of different shapes and sizes for your figures.
We still have no information about price or release date, but Shockwave Lab does not take much time to release their products once they share their first images. You can now click on the bar and share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Snap'em together. Pour mold. Make as many copies as you want. Rinse repeat.

Which Nemesis Prime is that in the pic?
Deathhowl
Where do they sell their stuff, i don't recall seeing it on BBTS. This is not something i care for but those gun hands for Rodimus Unicronus look bad ass
Protostar
I think they did this just so they could show off their Legends and Masterpiece figures

MAN! I need an actual transformer base mostly in scale with siege and generation size to fit inside

Ok there is an idea there… well Almost there. If they were translucent Purple and Orange, or even light blue, or energon colored. How about mirrored surfaced, decals as well. Get yourself some cheap christmas lights and let the party begin.
Ratchets Hatch
Finally! A flat, level surface for my figures!

It looks cool, but I don\'t think I need it. I like that you can change the layout to whatever you want, that\'s neat. But I feel like it needs something more to make it a must have.

Meanwhile other sets go vertical through the stability of being connected to their own floors. This stuff needs a purpose overhaul. Add pegs and ports to be compatible with other chain base sets and make them able to stack offset.
Scourgatron
Well, TF dont have peg holes.

I understand the appeal of the modular tiles though. and I wish them well.
But the compation for the battle tiles is seriously steep. Especially since tons of people usually just make their own now-a-days.
Turbine027
I mean, I have a whole tub of “Heroscape” terrain pieces…

Seems like it's just a Rip off from Tabletop RPG table top Battle tiles.
I've seen things exactly like this for folks who invest in Tabletop games like Warhammer 40k, Battletech and other more wellknown Tabletop games. You know the Hexegon Grid Maps?
Computron
no peg hole, what's the point
SWAGE66
Not seeing a whole lot of value if the price is more than $3 per kit. Gotta do a ton of work just to make a floor that doesn’t cover much space. Those chain bases I was getting from TCP under $20 each gave me floors and walls at least

As it is now this is just a floor, I can\'t see the value. However, if they also released hexagonal pieces which had peg holes in them for other action figure diplay stands that would be interesting.
Digger
Interesting. Looks cool to say the least.
Requiem Prime
Cool idea. The raised face makes me wonder if they can stack. Be nice if they could, better if a linked layer could stack for the solidity. Will have to wait for more info or someone to try it out.

I dont need a 3rd party surface to stand my figures on.
Mattymo
I like some of this groups stuff but when are they gonna actually go on a site instead of just selling on eBay
