Agreed! So happy to see the Cybertron/Galaxy Force designs getting more third party love. If they make a proper Leobreaker that's compatible with the original Optimus Prime toy, I'm sold automatically.
Porkulus
Those Cold Constructs figures are the first 3P figures I can 100% commit to. Cybertron was badass, it's a shame it's taken this long to get some updated figures.
(Yes, I'm aware of Galaxy Meteor, but that's a different price point)
Jehsee
Pumped for TFC's Grand Patriot… assuming it comes in army green. That's about it though.
Was digging FansHobby's Double Evil, till I saw the pricetag.
FT's Cyclonus does look pretty sharp, especially next to that Unicron head…. doh, after further reading, guess I shouldn't have brought that up. Pretty overly-sensitive in this thread…

No skin off my nose. I put him on ignore after the first exchange and went on with my life. Nothing to be gained by listening to people like that.

@Bot Sculptor
I'm sorry you got the obnoxious, rude, and seemingly insane responses that you got. That's just kinda the TFW2005 boards. Try not to take it personally. They do not speak for us.

A: He chose to make it personal by singling me out and continuing to push his twilight zone pov and projected mischaracterizations over what actually happened. You may not understand how rude that is to have someone try to do that to you. He started out being unreasonable and then persisted in that psychosis at all costs.
It seems you have this weird idea that when someone points out the facts and is trying to be reasonable, they're somehow "not allowing people to feel wronged" (your words from a post on the previous page). I'm not sure where the logical disconnect is for you, but doing the former does not forbid the latter. People can choose to feel wronged, even irrationally so as in this case, and no one is stopping them. But when they choose to act irrationally in public, someone else may be compelled to remind them of the facts and offer a more reasonable approach to the matter. For the person being irrational, and also you, to then flip that around and try to make the reasonable person out to be a badguy is kind of ridiculous. I will defend my statements against that sort of mischaracterization.
B: This conversation was over and done a day ago, so no need to try to revive it.
TFXProtector
Oh, come on. *SMH*
You may disagree with him, but you're just keeping it going and getting personal.
Bezuul
You’re awesome dude. I didn’t know that existed.

@Hoffman He probably doesn't realize it, but he just confirmed what you suspected. He chose to vent publicly before he contacted TCP but if you question his comments in light of the situation, you're "not being civil" and anything you say is "ill-informed assumptions" that are "presumptive, rude, and obnoxious". Not because it is. It's clearly not any of those things. But because he can't defend his premature comments, he attempts to redirect attention to how he feels about what other people say rather than addressing the substance of their posts. And then he projects his own behavior (presumption, rudeness) on others.
Someone that rushes to the Ignore button rather than face being wrong about something is an indicator of some deep-seated issues. The saying is true: You just can't help some people. I just fail to remember that. Perhaps I'm too optimistic.

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting thought the wind
Wanting to start again
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards
One blow from caving in
Do you ever feel already buried deep
Six feet under scream
But no one seems to hear a thing
Do you know that there's still a chance for you
'Cause there's a spark in you
You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July
Bot Sculptor
There is a big difference between airing your opinion (like you did, all cool) and making yourself the arbiter of all things and declaring your ill-informed assumptions as reality.
What you said was perfectly reasonable and civil. What he was saying was presumptive, rude, and obnoxious. And it was the rudeness, not the content, that got me irritated.
The irony is that I agreed with him the whole time on what the likely explanation was. Both CP and GetRightRobot are good people and I wanted to believe the best of them, and they did address my concerns like the stand-up people they are. So they are just as honest and forthright as I thought they were. Makes me feel good.
Nothing wrong at all with airing your opinion about this or anything. Some people just don't know how to be civil about it.

And there you have it. He just proved everything I've said correct. But of course he has to insult me anyway and continues to cast me as "inserting myself into a situation" that he made public and about which I contacted TCP before I started posting, and which they asked that I mention to him that they got the item from GRR.
If he'd had a private conversation with TCP first, it would have avoided all of his angst. It's sad to see someone whose ego is so strong he has to attack the one person who came at this from the start with a reasonable perspective and tried to defuse the situation, but such is life.
Bot Sculptor
I just heard back from Chosen Prime and it was indeed loaned to them by GetRightRobot as a background piece and nothing more. There were no ill intentions at all. So everything's cool.
To summarize for anyone interested, Chosen Prime had one of my statues in their display that they did not buy from me and that I did not okay. In the past when this has happened it was because I was being KO'd and I've had several KO'ers try to get their hands on this piece already, so naturally I was suspicious.
I contacted Chosen Prime both privately and publicly and asked for an explanation. They responded privately to my email and cleared up the confusion. No harm, no foul.
The only reason any of this got heated was because one person, not connected to this in any way, had to be a know-it-all uber nerd and kept inserting himself into a situation that had nothing to do with him.
Sorry if my reaction to him upset anyone, but bad manners is just one of those things that sets me off.

That's unfortunately a fundamental inconsistency underpinning his attitude and he is wholly unwilling to acknowledge it. He goes so far as to put me on Ignore, which shows how dedicated he is to his own ignorance on the matter.
Unfortunately for him, the more this was discussed, the more it seems like he antics are much ado about nothing:
Would it have been nice to have seen that Unicron head labeled? Sure. But it's silly to assume something "shady" happened, especially when he hasn't even communicated with the retailer to confirm/deny his suspicions.
My guess is TCP considered it a prop that was used to decorate a display and in the midst of the million logistical things they were managing during the planning, transport, and setup of their booth, it wasn't considered to be given a label. And, understandably from the perspective of the retailer, since it's not an item they have for sale, so why would it need a label on it. It's a decorative piece donated by one of their associates.
If someone finds it interesting and asks about it, I'm sure they'd direct them to GRR who supplied it, and who has very clearly labeled it as Oz Studios on their facebook page and even customized it to their own taste back in June. That's my guess. TCP can of course comment on it themselves if they so choose but honestly, why would they need to? This entire thing is absurd. It should have been a private inquiry from @Bot Sculptor to TCP if @Bot Sculptor was confused or concerned. I could be wrong, but I don't think I'm being a dick to point that out and stand firmly on rational ground.
Hoffman
I have no real opinion on this either way, but these two statements don't really compute for me. It's kinda weird to defend your right to air your grievance publicly and then tell somebody to butt out of your business.
It makes it sound like you want to vent publicly but everybody has to agree with you.
