Prowl is a repaint of the Walgreens version. The Prowl and Sideswipe were the best of those, so I'm glad to see them repurpose that one for a larger audience.

Weirdly enough, that Soundwave is to me actually starting to look a bit better than the Siege Voyager. The proper alt mode and lack of excess detail are pluses. Seems to be fairly articulated, unlike most toys in the line.

Warrior Prowl and Soundwave both look reasonable. Ultra Optimus and Slipstream look like they could be pretty nice (thankfully Slipstream is not a recolor of Starscream) though I'm guessing at least a 75 percent chance of no knees on either.

My son said Fatimus Prime looked like a T. Rex.

Berser Car

In the episode with the spacebridge, Optimus blocked enemy fire with a translucent shield/barrier that looked like the autobot symbol. I suppose that's what it represents.

a shield huh? Well that makes more sense. I haven't really watched Cyberverse beyond the first pair of eps so I had no idea.

Wow, Warrior Class Hot Rod looks like a mess. I know these are not for me so they are an easy pass. I'm looking at that Scout Class Ratchet. I normally buy anything Ratchet, but it makes me sad that while the robot mode looks pretty decent the designers stopped halfway with half way vehicle modes in this new Scout Class line.

Looks like the Ultra class gets a separate female Seeker mould, unlike the Warrior and Scout classes.

For one steps, those don't look too bad. Andthe new moulds have the weapon thing as an additional gimmick, which I guess adds some play value. That's a different Optimus one step to what's previously been seen; that one had a similar transformation to AOE Galvatron (and to this day I don't know why they didn't make an evasion Optimus that way instead of a random ROTF Megatron and G1 Prowl).

I actually love that one step megatron: clever transformation and great looking in both modes

As much as these 1-Step changers will require me to join a 12-Step program,
I may have to get that Optimus Prime just for that awesome flip-up Autobot Symbol!!!

Ick. Apparently Warrior class is where to look if you just want something akin to generations transformer fare.
Prowl is pretty good, I was a bit down on the back plate, but then I saw the road not traveled in Hot Rod.
Soundwave is downright satisfying, especially considering we literally just saw his counterpart looking pretty slick. Not gonna lie, this gimmick is the one gimmick I actually want. At this glance it doesn't seem to compromise the robot, all we lost was Laserbeak (because it's always laserbeak) not turning into a proper cuboid. And that\s fine! He's only in that mode when he's hidden in Soundwave anyway. Sell me a set of launchable critters, and we'll have the classics Soundwave the WFC version tried to be.
