And when you thought it was going to be a normal morning, Toypanic website has listed a pre-order for an upcoming new MP-10 Convoy X The Real Ghostbusters Crossover Toy.
This would be one very particular crossover and new addition to the extensive list or MP-10 repaints so far. We still have no real images of the product, but according to the description it is a “HASBRO Transformers 35th Anniversary Shanghai Exhibition Limited Item”. It will include a truck and trailer with a new logo plus new parts.
The item is listed for 815 Malaysian Ringit or $196 approximately and expected for release by September 2019.
Sadly, still no any image available just a placeholder. Take it with a grain of salt until we get further confirmation from an official source. Can you imagine Optimus Prime in an Ecto-1 deco? Who you gonna call? You can share your thoughts on the 2005 Boards.

The problem is that resource is nowhere near comprehensive and the MP section has failed to be updated in any meaningful way in years…

Again if people want to read mp English translated paperwork they can check out Soundwave’s Oblivion. It’s a good blog

Transformers combined with Ghostbuster? Silly, just silly…

My thoughts exactly, a retool of the Datsuns would do wonders in either cross over.

Now that I would buy, and a BttF Delorean robot or James Bond car robots and Batmobiles etc. Just repainting Prime and calling it a crossover though, no thanks.

Gotcha and thnx. Still I believe if they wanted they could make an English translation if anything else for the cards themselves. Even as BTTS or whatever exclusives.
But if it was from someone nearer it wouldnt be eh? Oh look at the entitlement of the European, he asks for English on a product we sell to his country. How entitling much childish
The good thing is that soon such xenophobia will die out.

I live in Asia and attitudes from foreigners with entitles attitudes like yours are frowned upon and seen as rather childish.
Yeah it’s unfortunate that we don’t get to read about our favorite characters and toys. But they owe us nothing more than a exported figure from their country.

The explanation is simple: Takara does not have the right to directly sell and/or distribute Transformers to retail stores outside of Japan. So they only sell to retailers within Japan, which is by agreement with Hasbro, their exclusive market. What those retailers then do with the figures is none of Takara's business.
The few very rare exceptions to this are major online retailers such as BBTS who have direct accounts with Takara. But even in their case, I would hazard a guess that BBTS has a Japanese subsidiary that handles the transaction so as not to get in a legal problem with Hasbro.

Which has nothing to do with TT (or does it and I miss info?) or the fact that they didnt gave two shits about international customers.
False logic in there. The product is been sold worldwide. Or you want to convince me its been done so illicitly? Or there is something else I miss entirely? I would love an explanation.
Regarding the other Japanese brands, I never send its not a cultural thing. In fact I believe (no offence meant) that it has to do more with the Japanese isolationist historical and cultural tendencies more than anything.
