Imaginarium Art G1 Shockwave Statue First Work In Progress Renders

Via a post in the Imaginarium Art Community Facebook Group we have our first Work In Progress Renders of theirG1 Shockwave Statue.

According to the information and comments on the original Facebook post, this statue is planned to be for the large scale of statues rather than the smaller “Legacy Of Cybertron” line. The renders show a cool G1 Shockwave, in a mix of his cartoon appearance and the toy design. He’s standing on a battleground ready to shoot his arm cannon. Keep in mind that these are early sample testing and several changes may be done for the final product.

No information on release date or price so far, but you can check out the images after the jump. You can then sound off your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Lovely.

It loojs good , but i still rather a ststue of shockwave sitting on a throne holding primes and megatrons head with the seekers wings sitting behind him….like that comic cover awhile ago. Either way it looks good

That said, if I was to get just one it'd be this one, or a Thundercracker.

You're in luck… or out of luck, depending on your point of view. They are producing a Thundercracker for their smaller/cheaper line. It looks fantastic.

have this lot actually released anything yet? or do the just love producing renders and prototypes? still waiting on the quintesson statue they teased last year

Yup.

Soundwave, Starscream on throne, Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus have all been released. Nemesis Prime is shipping now.

From the LoC line, Optimus Prime has nearly finished production.

I like it. Shockwave has always been about nice smooth surfaces.

There is nothing I see that I dislike about this statue if I had space I buy one of these

Wish MP-29 had more of those dimensions – especially the chunkier feet.

Thats not the final paint bruh. And we dont know the price yet. Theres a few different prices that IMAGINARIUM ART have. If your judging by the recent showing & cost of Grimlock (with Wheelie, and apprx. 5 Sharticons), then thats not the same. Grimlock is one of the most expensive versions. Plus some are a lot less bc they are smaller versions.

I'm guessing $1,200.
