Thanks to popular Transformers toy blogger and 2005 Boards member Blacklai, we now have with us an extensive pictorial review of Transformers: Bumblebee Energon Igniters Nitro Series Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Barricade.
The figures are not only easy to transform, but are also very articulated on top of being good looking on both robot mode and vehicle mode.
Additionally, the reviewer has included tiny video snippets showcasing the Igniter Gimmick in action.
We’ve mirrored several images with this news post and you can navigate to Blacklai’s blog for the full album.

A photo gallery and video of the Power Plus trio were posted in the other news topic last week, if anyone wants to see more of the Energon Igniters gimmick.

The alt modes on BB and OP actually look good.
thedicemaster
but his hips only move sideways.
I think forwards hip movement is more important than knee movement.
JomasterII
As usual, Barricade is the best in the line! He's got KNEES!!
Runamuck86
Loving the head designs of Bumblebee and Barricade ….
my only issue is Bee\'s fake VW front boobage .
I would like to own all three

That giant transforming electronic Bumblebee is the centerpiece of the line to me. Throws scale to hell and just focuses on full articulation without the electronic gimmicks compromising it at all. A toy that isn't afraid to be a playable toy yet not uberly simplistic. A shining of example of what can be done when compromisation doesn't happen.
I wish all Transformers kids lines were like that. Something that can transcend the target demographic and be fun even for an older audience.
Will place next to my HFTD giant electronic Bumblebee(the one Takara brought over as an MPM). I think they're the same size.
Glad the igniter engines are compatible with most figures in this line. Shame they cost more than they should. I'm very surprised Optimus lacks knees. Deal breaker for me.

Damn, i tihnk these Bees capture the essence of the new design better than the SS figure. (be good or bad figure)
They look so fresh.
Why does these look like ACTUAL kids' toys instead of cyberverse's?.
Probe
Have there been galleries for the two smaller sizes?
Michael Payton
Shame the Cyberverse toys don't look this good.
PlanckEpoch
That's…actually pretty sweet! I probably won't get them all but Barricade for sure!
DarkRed401
if cyberverse had gimmicks similar to the power charge and igniter series, they'd probably be great
CypherSK03
such high quality for toys that no one\'s gonna buy
Digger
I’m very impressed with the quality going into this line. I’m sure the kids are going to love it.
f-primusunicron
but, does barricade has hip articulation yes or no?
JT-bob
At least BB doesn't have door-wings on this one.
Lazerwave
If only we could see comparisons with other studio series figure.
Sideways77
Definetly want Optimus and Barricade, they look great.
Loving the Evasion inspired Optimuses in this line!
