In addition to the Transformers: Bumblebee Movie Energon Ignitor toys we saw on Friday, UK distributor NDA Toys and Amazon are sharing a whole lot of new images from the series as well as other toys from the movie such as the Stinger Blaster and role play masks.
The listing gives us our very first look at the Energon Ignitors Speed Series Bumblebee in his Chevrolet Camaro form; which was previously mentioned prior to SDCC, but never seen.
The new toys are as follows:
- Energon Ignitors Speed Series Optimus Prime
- Energon Ignitors Speed Series Bumblebee (Chevrolet Camaro)
- Energon Ignitors Speed Series Bumblebee (Volkswagen Beetle)
- Energon Ignitors Speed Series Barricade
- Energon Ignitors Speed Series Autobot Hot Rod – A retool of Barricade from the same line.
- Energon Ignitors Power Series Bumblebee (Chevrolet Camaro)
- Energon Ignitors Power Series Megatron
- Energon Ignitors Nitro Series Barricade
Stock images of the Stinger Blaster is also available along with this new batch of images. The weapon also acts as an accessory for the Bee Vision Augmented Reality toy.
We are also given our first new look at the Role Play Masks (again, heard but not seen) which are just re-releases of the masks from The Last Knight line with a new packaging for the Bumblebee movie.
DJ Bumblebee is also included here.
Check out all the images, after the jump.

MROptimusPrime
Yes I wll be getting this one. A REAL looking car mode finally, and not too bad a robot mode at that scale!
MROptimusPrime
I wonder if it is in Hasbro's mission staement to destrooy the rear of every Prime cab over vehicle mode?

When it comes to the paint? Sure. But in terms of everything else, this new one is leagues better.
IronMagnus
Ya, there could definitely be some improvements. I guess mine was more a comment on the rest of the line than anything else. I do like the figure though.
Fallout
i think this ignitor barricade is my favorite movie barricade figure yet. really balances the humanoid stance with the movie face and detailing.
it's a kid's toyline.

Damn…I wish this was painted and had knees….it would be my favorite thing for at least a week before I buy something else and forget I own it.
What was I talking about again?
Pichomp
I see Megatron has his trademark big gun.

why these look better than the cyberverse ones
Kurome
It looks real nice, though I suppose blue legs wouldn't have hurt

To be fair, these were made for children.
Kids naturally aren’t as demanding as adults when it comes to stuff like paint and engineering, so to Hasbro quality doesn’t matter as long as they pass safety tests, resemble the character enough and is enough to convince retailers to stuff Hasbro’s fat wallets even more.
Since I assume you’re 20-40 you should check out Studio Series instead (in the meantime we’ve only seen helicopter Dropkick and Beetlebee).
Cykill 1
With every new picture they show us, they are looking worse and worse. These pictures really highlight what is bad about this line to me. Don\'t get me wrong, there are figures I actually do like in this line, but a majority of it I\'m not interested in.
IronMagnus
This is the best looking thing in this entire line so far.

Still confused about G1 Bay-toys…
But I guess the logic is simple: Bay movies declining in sales, Paramount hopes to attract G1 fans and 80s-nostalgic folk to the the new flick.
The result is some creepy bastardization of G1, imo.
I absolutely LOVE that legion Beetle BB… but that Bay-verse aesthetic is a total punch to the gut.
Do you know how many years I've waited for Hasbro to do another [proper G1] take on their Beetle BB? And we get Bayverse G1 instead.
Classics revisited G1, but the logic back then was this: Hasbro won't move BACKWARDS, so let's "modernize" BB into some hideous, Japanese drift car.
Except that Hasbro IS moving backwards now. Then again, the absence of Volkswagon BB probably has more to do with Hasbro infringing on that design without permission to begin with. And by the retail power of TOMY, they now have a working relationship with Volkswagon. With movieverse being more important than any other TF universe, and with the declining box office sales of TF movies, it makes the most sense to put that license to work in a Bay movie (financially speaking); artistically speaking?
The Bayverse aesthetic (ultra-realism) really contradicts the original style of TFs (imaginary, size-shifting, truck-trailer-disappearing/reappearing nonsense). Not looking to complain, but I would like to point out how messed up it feels to see a HARDCORE version of G1 like this. For example, I'm still not cool with Optimus Prime conversing about murdering/killing Decepticons in Bay movies.
It's like when they put the X-men in matching, black-leather costumes!
It might have been "hardcore" or "cool", but it also missed the entire point and tone of the original work!
TheSuperion
Wait, so is Barricade actually in this movie? Cause the rumors were that there's only 3 decepticons, and we've had them all revealed – so where does this brand new design for Barricade fit in? I'm guessing either cut from the movie, ala Steeljaw (the original version that was going to be Leadfoot's pet) – or he has a a real tiny part like Jolt and Berserker. Maybe he's in a a post credits stinger?
RotorstormNZ
I'm just confused as to why the news story says Energon Ignitors when Nevermore's original posts and the actual products say Energon Igniters!
Regardless, I'm totally on board for Speed Series Barricade and Bug Bee. Hoping someone makes him a G1 head!
TyrantLizardKing
Dear god that Legends Camaro Bumblebee looks leagues worse than the 2007 one.
Sy-Rein
Definitely interested in legends class Barricade and VW BB. They both look good for their size.
