Flame Toys is also present at the Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong (ACGHK) 2018 and they sure have brought a lot of reveals.
Thanks to the Hobbymizer Hong Kong Discuss Facebook Group we have a very nice gallery of all the products they have shown. Here’s the list, and pay attention since we know you will like what is coming with Flame Toys:
- Furai Model (Model kits). This is a line of fully articulated and affordable line of model kits. we have images of some characters we had already seen in San Diego Comic-Con like Optimus Prime, Nemesis Prime, Starcream and Bumblebee. Some of them, finally in full color. The big surprises come with the gray prototype of Devastator and IDW Megatron, based on this design from More Than Meets The Eye by Alex Milne. But there’s more to see in the future.
- Furai Model Deformer. Sweet little chibi versions of G1 Characters. Besides the previously seen, Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron and Soundwave, we have our first look at Starscream.
- Kuro Kara Kuri (Action Figures). The impressive fully articulated, oficially licensed and top quality line of Flame Toys action figures was on display too. IDW Star Saber in Full Color was on display (he will include a sword, rifle, shield and a normal Saber extra head), but our really big surprise came with the prototype of Victory Leo (beast mode) and the combined form of both action figures into an incredibly detailed Victory Saber. We are sure you will enjoy the images of these figure releases. As an extra bonus, we have a look at other upcoming figures like Tarn, Shattered Glass Drift (repaint of Drift, comes with 2 guns), IDW Optimus Prime (includes a massive sword) and shots of the accessories of some of them. A poster announcing IDW Don Figueroa’s Stealth Megatron figure was also seen.
We still have information about the release date or prices of these items, but you can now click on the bar to see the mirrored gallery and sound off on the 2005 Boards!

What’s the scale gonna be on that devastator model?
Good lord that’s beautiful. I’d love to see a design like this made into toy form.
Maybe so. But I do quite love how it looks.

Looks okay. Needs to be bulkier

I'm sure it will be a very good figure…but I'm afraid to even think how much it will cost.

Yeah I’m totally gonna watch them.

As much as I love the Brave saga, it isn't something I would recommend watching. The shows were blatant toy commercials (even more than G1) with the vast majority of episodes following the villain of the week formula. Think Power Rangers: it is something that you could really only appreciate as an adult if it was an integral part of your childhood. GaoGaiGar is about the only one I'd recommend trying as an adult though the last 5 episodes of Might Gaine get an honorable mention for the severe mood whip lash that turned a kid's show into the apocalypse.
The designs are still absolutely beautiful though. The Braves are a perfect time capsule of popular 90s mecha.

Oh I’ve heard of the legend that is brave but never gotten into the specifics of it. It’s still on my anime watch list. I absolutely love it though.

Super Build Tiger is a construction combiner from the Brave Police: J Decker subset of the Brave series. The Braves were Takara's transforming mech series that ran throughout the 90s after the "death" of G1 with Transformers Zone. The Brave shows were made in collaboration with Sunrise which lead to very unique and stylized designs that looked half Gundam and half G1. The Braves were largely unknown to the rest of the world, being just another generic robot anime, until the final Brave series GaoGaiGar was licensed for overseas distribution.
The aesthetics of the Brave Saga is pretty close to the Studio Ox transformer designs. If you enjoy the Studio Ox style, you'll love the Brave designs.

I don’t know what that is but it’s fucking awesome!

Looks like Super Build Tiger and I freaking love it

I like that. Or do some clever cheap white decos like ultra magnus or as you said SG devastator. I dunno.

Yeah, I'm super excited for the Devastator. It's Oxy, but not overly so (lol). And the size is perfect for me. If it's not too expensive and I like it I'll grap a second one and give him an SG paint job.
Speaking of that, I hope FT will also produce these kits without colored plastics (i.e. prototype grey or something).

Didn't see one, and I'm always hesitant to make additional threads for previously reported figures, but mods, feel free to move it to a better place!
Digger
First of all. Does this have its own thread or a better place to go then in an old news thread? Secondly, that looks amazing and I hope the eyes are yellow.
