Via GeekDad website we have our first look at the Transformers: Bumblebee – Energon Igniters Movie Toys.
We a complete full line of toys of different sizes. As stated in the description, all of them are aimed at a younger audience that actually wants to play with their Transformers. They bigger figures come with power-up engines that unlock special features and can interact with the rest of the line. Here you are a list of the toys with prices and descriptions.
- Energon Igniters Speed – $5.99. The smallest of the Energon Igniters, the 3-inch Speed series transforms between modes in 7 steps or less.
- Energon Igniters Power – $9.99. The 5-inch Power series is a little more complex (4-9 steps). You can use the cores sold with the Power Plus and Nitro toys to unlock special features.
- Energon Igniters Power Plus – $12.99. The Power Plus series are similar to the Power series, except these come with the core that unlocks extra features. If you want the cores, go with these versions.
- Energon Igniters Nitro – $19.99.
Some of the toys seem to line up the Amazon listings and dates we reported a few days ago. According to the article we will see the prototypes in person at San Diego Comic-Con.. They are going to be available at retail before the movie drops this December (maybe October or November).
There are several characters on this line we haven’t seen on the Bumblebee movie trailer or other media yet. We may see them or not in the movie, so take your guess! You can check out all the images after the jump, and then join to ongoing discussion on the 2005 Boards!

I might pick of the 3 inch hot rod. It looks pretty neat.

Nice find! I just preordered Dropkick on Hasbrotoyshop so to see Shatter getting the same treatment is great!

Thanks dude! I'm relatively new here, so I owe you one.
Nevermore
Dude, don't bury this on page 15. Start a new thread!
EDIT: I just did.
Bumblebee Movie Energon Igniters Power Plus Shatter revealed and released in Singapore
Ashiaka
Found this in OG Albert, Singapore. Previously unknown Shatter from Energon Igniters. She's the same mold as Dropkick with a new head.

Energon makes more sense. If i remember right the cube resurrects optimus for a toy commercial last year. The effects were good so it made up for that.

Oh of course so do I. But just saying. That’d be real cool if we got them all. Cause honestly they’re some of the best designs in the movieverse we’ve gotten so far. And having that MPM size, sculpt, build and articulation would be something real special.
RodimusSupreme
Definitely, but not yet. Still need a bunch more of the previous movies characters.
Digger
Honestly I’d love all the bumblebee cast as MPM figures.

Well…it's as much like a Harrier as Animated Starscream was! I'm really hoping we get her as a Harrier in an SS or MPM…
Digger
Either way I hope she gets a studio series figure. Nice companion to dropkick.

They have a toy for a line called "Titan Changers" but it's only her Harrier jet mode. So far no Energon Igniter toy or any toy with her Plymouth/car mode. Maybe in Wave 2.
Digger
Did they reveal her yet or was that another type of figure?
EmceeDel
Still really want Shatter's car mode.
Can't wait to get an Energon Igniter Dropkick.

Well we have seen photos of the prototype stolen by a ko company. They’ve been blurred but you get a good idea of the figure. Still has the wings, sword and gun. Honestly I wouldn’t mind if it was camaro bee and we got VW bed and blitzwing later next year. As long as it was accurate.
RodimusSupreme
Because the guys from Hasbro who were there while they were filming the commercial told them that's where it goes.

Thing is, if they waited for final renders before even designing the toys, nothing would come out till a year after the movie, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a toy line (and other merchandise) to accompany the movie. Though I agree it's probably premature to release an MPM at the same time; it's been mentioned in another thread that the MPM might be the 77 Camaro. It's unfortunate, and it would be nice if the filmmakers could decide on final designs far enough in advance for it not to happen, but I guess it's the way things are.
I think October has been stated a few times, though Smyths in the UK has them on the site with stock expected in September.

Honestly people should never design figures off concept art just so they can release the figure early with the film release. LEGO does this all the time and it’s real unfortunate. I’m curious how they’re gonna call the movie accurate details like say the sword or the gun if they aren’t even in the film. The thing is I doubt they’ll do a version two if it’s wrong. Whatever. I just hope it’s good.
