Via an Instagram story from the official Transformers Instagram account, we could have a hint on the new Transformers Toy Collection.
On the video, Hasbro’s design manager John Warden invites fans to pay attention to Bumblebee movie and Transformers Generations reveals at San Diego Comicon. Nothing that we shouldn’t expect, but there was something really interesting in the background. We can see part of a poster of the next iteration in the new “War For Cybertron Trilogy” announced some time ago.
We can spot two big letters: “GE” with part of the War For Cybertron logo below. This should be part of the first series/collection which is part of the new Trilogy, as we had Combiner Wars, Titans Return and Power Of The Primes for Prime Wars Trilogy.
This gives us a lot to think and speculate about the new name. Siege? Rage? Make your bets, but take it with a grain of salt since, as noticed by some of our board members, this could also be a poster of a character. Mirage maybe? Let us know what you think on the 2005 Boards!
Xaxis
Well, looks like those who guessed “Siege” were correct. Congrats!

GUNGE.
Hasbro is going to sell you all sorts of gloopy playsets.

Rage?

I know, but I'm still thinking IDW has some connection to this. Maybe I'm totally wrong, but if they are going for a new look that is uniform across media (Evergreen) then I think we could see that influence in Generations. Is that nuts? I'm not being sarcastic, Generations is technically for updating what has come before, but I just have this weird feeling we will see some designs in WFC that are not cartoon-centric.

But this line takes place during the earliest days of the war on Cybertron, Unicron didn’t appear until much later.

Yes, yes, "I" before "E", we all know the rule. It's weird.
Ditko
I say Siege as in Unicron is coming. And it is "I" before "E" people! Sorry it had to be said.
Fort Max
The plot thickens.

Superscript letters could occupy a compressed character slot… another guess (based on the era and recent interest in the original Primes) might be:
1st AGE

True enough, but it certainly applies to those BW figures from Generations (as well as Scoop and to a slightly lesser degree, Nightbeat.) They warmed the shelves in Targets and Walmarts for months and months, at a minimum in the four states I regularly travel as well as the states along the way where BotCon and JoeCon were at those years. I was late showing my kids the Beast Wars DVDs, but that did let me buy them those figures for a third to a quarter of the cost. They spent nearly as much time warming the shelves at retail as the Leader CW Seekers did, and were also clearanced out in online stores as well – showing it wasn't just a regional thing.

Nothing but Swindles as far as the eye can see!

a prequel? not bad!

Bbts has a ton pf generations figures on clearance. Would not call them all peg/ shelf warmers- it is a terribly overused term.
stad
Same here. Unfortunately, those things peg-warming probably doomed any deluge of BW figures for the forseeable future. BBTS might still have some of those on clearance for 75% off.
Xaxis
Guys, c’mon, it obviously says “budge”.
BWfan86
It’s clearly Beige

Siege – Relating to war
Dirge – G1 Conehead
Singe – Spinister's Targetmaster Partner
Bilge – Armada Mini-Con
Liege – Maximo or Centuro
Mindset
Fudge of War for Cybertron.
Equal portion of the trilogy will have its own baked goods included with the figures.
Collect em all to make dessert for Megatron before he throws a tantrum and starts the war.

Using the G and E as reference, they're 36 pixels square in the image.
4 block letters and an 'I' would fit perfectly. 5 block letters would not.

The first bit was on Earth, but the most of Rebirth was Nebulos or Cybertron.
