Along with the Bumblee Movie Prequel, iBooks also brings us a preview for IDW Publishing’s Lost Light #19, due for release on June 27. After last issue’s shocking revelations, the newly-united Team Rodimus and Scavengers come face-to-face with a legion of Sparkeaters that look a little familiar! It’s friends against friends as Lost Light‘s final story arc, “Crucible,” kicks off; this first chapter also welcomes back artist E.J. Su, who illustrated as well IDW’s very first Transformers book, Infiltration. Be sure to read the preview after the break, and then sound off on the TFW2005 boards!
Digilaut
Lost Light once again delayed for a week. James Roberts, what a hack!
Jalaguy
It's annoying that Unicron #1 is out before Optimus Prime #21, especially after the same thing happened with Revolutionaries and First Strike (although hopefully there won't be a big spoiler involved this time).
Omegashark18
Yep, it’s been officially confirmed for next week.
On another note, currently slated for the 11th, are Optimus Prime #20, Unicron #1, AND Lost Light #20!

turned email notifications on on my phone while i was working today in hopes it would come through and instead i just got excited every time i got spam for four hours straight
oh well, next week should be a good one!
Dramatic Spoon
Oh man, tomorrow is goin….dammit it got delayed again.
Omegashark18
Damn. This wait for the finales to kick off is killing me!
NexusPrime
Yeah iBooks and the official Transformers app now say next week as well!
Stryyder
Ah boo. I was hoping it was foreshadowing. Oh well.
The Kup
Yeah, that's actually the retailer incentive cover for Optimus Prime #12.
Stryyder
Ummm…am I the only one seeing the wrong cover here? and what's on that cover…..Oo
sharkrainbow
not that it necessarily means a whole lot, but comixology still has it set for the 27th so my findles are still crossed
Nocturne
It will probably come out this wendsay on digital platforms. Usually does when there's a delay of the physical copies.
Omegashark18
Dammit, was really looking forward to this. Now we have to wait another week!
You’d think that with the continuity ending IDW would be able to get all their ducks in a row. Guess not…
Guess we’ll just have to settle for the digital release of Unicron #0.

TRANSFORMERS LOST LIGHT #19 CVR A ROCHE (APR180357)
Yeah… it's been pushed back a week to July 4. I was wondering why my LCS only had issue 18 in their online reservation form.
sharkrainbow
no don't do this to me
Omegashark18
Now this is odd, the comic wasn’t on the new releases list for next week OR the week after…
Thundermania
I remember some people thinking that Star Saber getting blasted by the Nudge Gun might "pull a Skids" and cause a complete personality rewrite, turning Star Saber into the iconic hero we know him to be.
sharkrainbow
look at the panels of Brainstorm being …..spewed on…. and being tackled away by Nautica. that's not Lawrence work. Su is adopting the same style, presumably because it would be extremely jarring to have a single issue throwing back to the style we all associate with them – and also because it's a fine style as it is! why not stick with it!
justiceg
Just because I haven’t seen it mentioned yet…are we sure that these first pages *are* Su and not Jack Lawrence? Perhaps the Su pages are flashback and not seen yet?
Danforth
I was hoping it was Thunderclash dropping in, from the ship stolen from Star Saber by First Aid and Riptide; but I looked back at my LL volume 2 trade and that was a white ship, not a black one.
So I guess it's Star Saber (how will being repeatedly blasted with the nudge gun affect him, I wonder?) with Grimlock showing up later on.
Good to have EJ Su back even though it's just for one issue. He's following the Jack Lawrence "house style" but there's some personal touches. The Su-ness is more apparent in the lineart that's been tweeted to promote the issue, so I guess the colourist has helped blend it in.
