Thanks to the same source which provided TFW2005 with the possible Street Date of Transformers: Bumblebee movie toyline, comes a brand new info on Boulder Media produced Transformers: Cyberverse animated series.
Transformers: Cyberverse is set to air on international markets in September this year, along with the toyline which will hit the shelves around the same time.
Description (from an earlier post):
“Premiering later this year in an 18-episode run, Transformers Cyberverse follows Bumblebee as he tries to fix his damaged memory chips and remember what his mission, and purpose, on Earth is. Each 11-minute episode will focus more on character development and Transformers mythology and will feature bot designs very reminiscent of the original G1 line.
Official Synopsis:
“Bumblebee is on a critical mission where lives are at stake! Only, he can’t remember what it is? It’s a good thing his best friend Windblade has found him to help repair his damaged memory chips. With each recovered memory, Bumblebee rediscovers his past adventures on Cybertron before coming to Earth. He relives fun moments when he played Cybertronian sports with his friends, and even tragic ones that would change his life. His past will shape him into becoming the hero we know today. As each memory is repaired, another clue comes to light that will lead them both to complete their shared mission to save their friends and Earth… however, the Decepticons are hot on their heels and time is running out.”
- Target Audience: 6 – 11 Years

Really? Bummer.

It's not Fall. The rumor started with a fake image posted on Twitter. Few days later it was confirmed to be a fake and the show is yet to receive a release date.
Bakuformer00
I hope it airs on a place that isn’t terrible like CN…..
GirlBot
Huh. Is it? That's great
In Hasbro's official presentation they put down RBA's development for 2018-2019 and its delivery in 2019. Cyberverse dates check out there. Maybe the presentation was outdated.

Neo Ranga and Ninja Slayer are great and I should get around to Space Patrol Luluco, but…
I too am tepid about the 11 minute format.
And, that synopsis makes Cyberverse seem even more like Memento.
I also can’t help but consider for a moment how Studio Trigger might have Wind-chan seduce the compromised ‘Bee…
Unicron, take me now! x}

Spongebob fits that format well for the type of show it is. Short, punchy, and funny. Not quite what I’m looking for from Transformers though.
If turns out good, then great. If it’s bad, then it’s just another show I won’t watch. No big deal.
But seeing as we know next to nothing about the show at this stage, I’ll just hope for the best.
SilverOptimus
While I agree that a show like Transformers is better suited for 22 minute format, shows like SpongeBob has proven that you can do a lot with 11 minutes.
11 minute format is the new norm and I remember that Brian Goldner once said that Hasbro closely follows the industry norms for their animated shows. He said that in response to changing the per season episode count from 26 to 13.
Purple Heart
Oh no I holy agree, it’s going to suffer and not really tell any sort of good story. I mean you can with that format, but thats most likely not going to work here. I’m not expecting any sort of seriousness at all from this.
Pichomp
Usually when shows work within 11 minute chunks, the storytelling seems to suffer as opposed to being in one 21 minute cohesive episode.
Unless, of course, they are writing the show with the idea that two cohesive 11 minute episodes are one regular episode, I fear we are going to be getting webisode quality (that is, not very good) shows. I doubt they are going to be done that way, or else why wouldn’t they just do one regular episode.
In short, I’m seeing warning flags that are not very reassuring. It could very well wind up being the Transformers version of Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters, or another Machinima debacle. I hope I’m wrong.
IceMagnus
My question is where is it gonna be shown?
Purple Heart
It’ll be two 11 minute episodes in a half hour block.
Pichomp
11 minutes each episode? I was hoping for an actual half hour show again, not another Power of the Primes deal. I guess we’ll see, but I’m not too optimistic.
TLK Barricade
It's actually supposed to air this Fall.
IceMagnus
I laughed harder than I should at this. lol
Omegashark18
I hope it’s good.
I’d like to have a good Transformers show again.
RiD just didn’t quite cut it as a sequel to Prime.
TLK Barricade
I couldn't agree more, it's way too soon to judge. Let's at least give it a chance.
Ramdomaccess
Looking forward to it. Hope it's fun but got little more meat than RID did
GirlBot
Thank you! I did not expect such extensive answer
I did look up some of the guys. The most experienced seem to be Dan Salarolo and Zac Atkinson. They worked for majority of RiD2015 and Rescue Bots runs respectively as writer/production assistants and script coordinators. It will be a debut in writing animated children shows for Mae Catt. And Randolph Heard and Gavin Hignight have a few episodes from their mentioned series under their belts. I hope that everything works out!
On a different note: can we expect and actual opening theme song? (Rescue Bots had one after all!) Lately theme songs seem to be a dying art
Bringer of Sorrow
Well, the whole "ruined forever" has been a thing since beast wars and we know how that turned out so I don't think it means anything at this point (I think it was already a thing since 3rd season of g1?)
