Saurus Ryu-Oh Beaststructor is a neon color centric repaint version of original Saurus Ryu-Oh release bearing the homage of the Generation 1 Decepticon combiner Monstructor. This is being offered as a gift set with 6 figures aptly named Beast-Ichi, Beast-Ni, Beast-San, Beast-Shi,Beast-Go, and Beast-Roku. I bought it in February of 2018-19 I think. It's hardly on Ebay. I've on seen 2 in the past 6 months for about $300+ and $600.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I read that they only produced a bit over the preorders, so there aren’t many floating around unless someone is selling theirs.

So I had originally preordered this set, but my order got screwed up and then I kinda lost interest. But here I am – Tony had this on sale for a while so decided to grap before it vanished from the market completely – about two years later. The combined mode has issues (most of it can be remedied) but he looks unique; and the six Pretender monsters are surprisingly fun (I like these much better than the Dinobots from this line) which helped alleviate some of my qualms with the aesthetics. In fact, I’m not sure even whether these guys are wonky or just kind of…cute. But anyway, you can flip these back and forth, stuff tab in and you’ve got nice ratchets for that extra tangibility factor. Shit goes a long way. Combined with a great color scheme (is this a pun?) and I find this set offers enough to make me feel I got my money’s worth.

He's a bit wonky but I love him – especially the colour palette. I think he's gonna go well with the FP G2 Intimidator, if A3U ever release Diesel. I'd love more combiners at this scale but it's not looking hopeful :(

The only chance of that ever happening is if/when Hasbro or another 3P releases theirs. This set had a limited production with a specific subset of the market in mind (I assume they didn’t want to take the risk to appeal to the wavering buyer with a lower price). I paid $310 shipped and that was the absolute bottom price for this. TFsource had some extra stock for preorder just recently (at $369.99) and it sold out. And that’s it, it’s gone.

Yeah I know, but since FP stuff seems to randomly pop up at places like BBTS at a big discount from time to time, I just keep hoping that one day this set will randomly do the same one day.
