Extreme Sets have been pushing out awesome modular dioramas for the last couple years, and last year they really kicked things up. For Transformers, they dropped the Control Center and Headquarters sets which are orange and purple themed bases, perfect for setting up your Autobots and Decepticons respectively. Now they are back with a remix of the Control Center, this time scaled for Masterpiece figures.
It comes with 6 walls, 2 of which have doors now, 3 floors, and several pieces that connect to the walls to add 3d pop outs for monitors and panels. The wall panels each measure 20 inches by 18 inches, so when you connect all 6 you get a 10 FOOT wide display that is 1.5 feet tall. BIG! Now, most of us won’t do that, so having the different panels to layer behind the open doors and put in different spots on your shelves is really what all that is for. The ability to set up and break down quickly, and store flat when not in use is a bonus.
All in all it’s another epic set that is welcome here both for my display and using in toy photography. We took the set for a spin, head on over to the full gallery to check out over 25 HD images of what it can do!
And, if you are interested, the fine folks at Extreme-Sets.com have given us a coupon code for a discount on your orders. Enter code TOYARK at checkout and get 15% off your order!

Every time i see the pic with all of them staring at the screen that Optimus is pointing at, the first thing that pops in my mind is that the Six Million Dollar Man is coming on, and they're all there to watch it…

These are great! I used them to create a display box many years ago that still hangs behind my desk at home.

I'm in the process of building this:

Extreme Sets has teased an upcoming set that looks like it's probably based on a Batcave.

How much total in yen for price and shipping?
Agent 539
The only way they'd be sold separately is if someone parted them out. Not aware if he was KO'd and I seriously doubt he was but I do know WST Soundwave is KO'd.
jamarmiller
ordered two sets, shipped to japan cost me over a 100 dollars just for shipping. ONE of the sets came seriously damaged packed in its box. tabs ripped off , edges bent ect ect, not happy

cheers! do you happen to know if these are available separately? or re-produced by 3rd party companies or anything like that?
Agent 539
That's from the Shockwave/Hiss set sold at SDCC.

I want a Batcave.

Wow man, these shots are f'n beautiful.
If anyone's spent a small fortune on their CHUG shelves, then you owe it to yourself to get this for your display.

That doesn't look 10 foot wide, unless only some of the panels were not put together.

It's a very nice set. I'm torn: I'd like to buy the set, but I've already got a great Teletraan-1, and I don't wish to pay $70+ for the walls.
Maybe I'll look a little closer, or contact them to see if it can be purchased without the computer for less.
unpunk
Do it.

The price of this is ridiculous for some cardboard. I could make myself one from scratch for less than $20.

I've got both the Decepticon base and the original Autobot base from Extreme Sets. I like them pretty well, but a big drawback is that they're printed on corrugated cardboard. For photography purposes, it's hard to light them so that the corrugation doesn't show through.

Regardless of what we think Takara may not care, either.
knightmare6
I don't think Takara doesn't care, so much as it's a licensing issue with the companies that own the vehicles.
Oh nice! I thought they were only available directly from their (Extreme Sets) site, and not other retailers, but now I may actually pick one of these up eventually!
Maybe WST Soundwave?
