At this point, you’ll probably be wondering what happened to the Marketing Campaign of Transformers: Bumblebee movie. But, rest assured that the campaign is in good hands of a quite a famous marketing company.
Thanks to a LinkedIn blog post dating back to the start of the year, we have learned that Way To Blue will carry out the marketing campaign for the upcoming movie.
In recent times, the company carried out marketing campaigns for movies such as Thor: Ragnarok, War For The Planet of the Apes, Baby Driver, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, John Wick 2 and many others. Way To Blue also carried out the marketing campaign for Director Travis Knight‘s Kubo And The Two Strings movie as well as campaigns for his studio (LAIKA Animation Studio). At the moment, the company is taking care of the marketing campaign for Deadpool 2.
We currently do not have an exact date set for the first trailer. However, we hope to see it by the time the movie is 6 months away from the release date or slightly earlier. Transformers: Bumblebee will arrive at theaters on December 21st, 2018.

Honestly I'm just excited about the toyline. Craving some 80s inspired vehicle designs.
I'm pretty optimistic about the film too. Hope it's at least similar to the 2007 movie in simplicity.

I do hope the Facebook Page Releases Concept Art for the Main 4 Transformers appearing in the Bumblebee Movie like what they did for The Last Knight Marketing.

Yeah, it's natural for fans to get impatient, but I don't think there's anything to worry about just yet. Eight months out is pretty early for any movie to start their marketing campaign, especially a smaller scale, lower budget spinoff. They don't want to make people sick of seeing Bee's face by the time the movie comes out, lol (especially since he's still all over on the leftover marketing of The Last Knight).
Even when the marketing kicks in, I kind of expect it to be smaller than the marketing for the main films. I don't necessarily want a big marketing campaign as much as I want clever and unique marketing. I hope they really play up the '80s angle with a lot of good colors and songs, that would really add a breath of fresh air to the brand.
Sometimes I get frustrated by lack of marketing in movies, but this is a case where I'm actually kind of enjoying the suspense of it. Every day I wake up and check the TFW news feed to see if there's anything new. One of these days something has to drop, and it could be any day now…

Who????

Honestly it's less worry more impatience for at least. I expect marketing around May/June.

Overall true since most people with even a modicum of common sense realize marketing a movie in Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr makes zero sense if it's coming out in Dec… but there was that ONE guy somewhere here a week or two ago, getting all Chicken Little about "the lack of marketing yet". It's cute sometimes.

Still no trailer.

"At this point, you’ll probably be wondering what happened to the Marketing Campaign of Transformers: Bumblebee movie"
No body was wondering this.
Afterburner
Nobody was wondering anything since we get daily promotional updates on the front page.

Cool.

I guess the reason we have them on board is because of Travis Knight. Pretty cool.
The movie desperately needs a good marketing campaign. The trailers for TLK were horrible. I mean, trying to market a turd sounds fairly hard but then again, the marketing for ROTF was really good.

So I'm guessing they'll promote the movie after deadpool 2 then
GAUGE
lol I remember this company well one of it's poster designers for Star Wars TLJ, being in extremely hot water for stealing a design template to make some Star Wars The Last Jedi posters and advertisements for Disney.
Welp time to kick back and watch more drama unfold.
