Via friend site Cybertron.ca we have good news for fellow Canadian fans, since we can report that Transformers Studio Series figures were spotted At Canadian Retail.
A post on Cybertron.ca forums let us know that Studio Series Wave 1 Deluxes (Crowbar, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Stinger) and Voyagers (Optimus Prime and Starscream) were found at EB Games store in Toronto.
Happy hunting to all Canadian fans! We hope the Studio Series figures will surface in other countries soon, too. Keep reporting your sightings at the 2005 Boards!

Hoping wave 2 shows up soon. I asked the EB Games guy but he said he doesn't know what figures are available until he gets them, they just go by the asst. number.

Thanks

Where?
(I.e. this is the internet. Feel free to post a link.)

Leader Blackout is up on Walmart.ca for those interested!!

I’m also wondering about studio series thundercraker.
SPLIT LIP
Ah, I see. I didn't know you knew I had issues with it, now it makes sense.
Back on topic, I wonder now that wave two has been revealed in full in hand, when might they be released? Hopefully right around the corner if they're in hand already.
Hexatron
I knew you had gripes with the figure. Was just poking fun. Guess it was too subtle though haha, no ill intentions.
SPLIT LIP
A masterpiece that can't bend its knees or look left or right.
Peru Kill's okay, but the proportions don't evoke Lockdown. Also the SS has an accurate face and alt mode. (and is more detailed in sculpt)
What was the joke?
Hexatron
………… Uh……. Was a joke, notice the Jk?
MegaGeek
Nope, but he's still a masterpiece.

Split has Peru Kill. He doesn't exactly scale with Studio Series, now does he?
MegaGeek
That lockdown is a masterpiece
Hexatron
I got ya lockdown

Jk jk

I am having so much fun collecting Studio series right now. Unlike a Walmart hunt, EB Games actually operates on a more personal level, and the communication feels much more effective.
I hope wave two drops soon-ish. This pig needs his Lockdown.

The EB in North Bay, Ontario had Blackout (as a non-movie guy, I have to admit he looks great) and a couple of the voyagers. The Walmart at the same mall didn't have any of the SS figures out yet.
Hexatron
No leaders at the EBs in Red Deer Alberta. Although one Walmart had SS prime and screamer, no deluxes or leaders strangely.
MegaGeek
I think they are so popular because of how awesome they are. Just look at Blackout. We have never got any movie release figure close to that – except for masterpiece.
SPLIT LIP
Well, more limited release most likely.
I'm sure once SS hits Walmarts in force we'll see some shelf-warmers.
