Thanks to Portugal toy retailer Sr.Brinquedo, we have another listing of possible toys from the Bumblebee: The Movie toyline.
The new listing features a Masterpiece Bumblebee along with several new items including a possibility of a known Autobot appearing alongside Volkswagen Bumblebee.

So it seems like that mysterious Autobot Masterpiece figure (E0705) is actually Ironhide. He's listed at Amazon Germany with an estimated release date of April 20. EAN barcode is 5010993495931.

Please note that the title and item description is already auto-translated nonsense, so any attempt to translate it back into English will only result in more ridiculous arglebargle. However, the title attibutes him both to the Bumblebee Movie ("MV6") and the 2007 Movie ("TF1"). Huh.
Fallout
oh my god. my prayers have been answered.
now we just have to hope shockwave doesn't start slinging racial slurs while on stage…
Nevermore
So "Bania" = Starscream, "Costanza" = Bumblebee and "Kramer" = Shockwave.

Deadend
It references the ship that brought them to earth. They mention having lost it and need daytrader to find it for them. If any ship would have worked, they would have left already. They would have built a new one, or repaired a found damaged one. They were looking for their own in particular that they lost. That ship is likely what brought Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs all to earth at the same time though when is anyone's guess. All we do know is that they either arrived or went in hiding after DOtM, and rallied with Prime during AOE. Since they weren't in the first 3 movies, they either weren't nearby, like how Hot Rod was in London, or they weren't on earth yet. Hot Rod is the only one for certain we know has likely been on earth as long as Bumblebee. But after WWII he stayed in London. We know he was with Vivian's dad, and then became Vivian's car. And then finally brought Vivian to Hopkins' character when the timing was right and she was needed. Likely Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs have been on earth for a long while though. It's also one of the jokes in the movie. "They forgot where they parked their car." is what it boils down to.
Oh and I definitely want to see the deadlock to drift transition explored, but it'd have to be an animated prequel of before earth. It'd also better frame the cause of the war and the split between autobots and decepticons and how Megatron rallied troops to his side and the propaganda they used to disparage cybertronians from becoming autobots.
That kind of animated drift movie would make a great Transformers universe GOTG type movie. With Drift/Deadlock essentially acting as a Starlord/Gamora hybridized character. Hound is more Drax, while Crosshairs is definitely Rocket Raccoon.
Galvatross
Do we know that though?
Well there are the Titan Comics that depict Drift as a Decepticon fighting Autobots on Cybertron around the time of the first movie if I remember correctly, but I wouldn't consider those canon on-screen per se. Whatever happens in the actual film takes precedence over the comics.
I'm not saying it's definite. I'm saying it's a possibility I would love to see explored.
"Our ship" refers to any ship that can get them off-world, not the ship that brought them to Earth.
Deadend
Deadlock happened before Drift came to earth, and likely he was already an autobot when he arrived on earth. The ship reference when Hound and Drift are talking to Daytrader in TLK suggests they came to Earth together at the same time on the same side("found our ship yet?"). Which would set Deadlock's transition to long before he came to Earth. This is something that tends to be in the lore as well. That Drift's transitions to autobot are pre-earth across all incarnations. IDW and RID both had it pre-earth too. His change of heart always stems more from deciding to save others himself and turn against decepticons. That he sees harshness of what decepticons do to others and can't take it anymore. His stories always seem to lean more "decepticon by conscription" because of being a starving homeless bot, that became even more pronounced from the war. The original caste system having held him down, but then the decepticons going too far in hurting others that did nothing to them. His initial refusal of becoming an autobot because he saw them as wanting to maintain the caste system that held him down. So he was okay with fighting them. But then stood up either because of youngbots or others that showed him kindness and that the caste system was meaningless, that he could find his own path that didn't involve being cruel like decepticons. Which then later leads to him learning that autobots aren't what decepticon propaganda said they were, but that's already after he's on the run from decepticons and was fearful of autobots. By him already knowing Hound when they came to earth on the same ship, suggests he was already on the run from decepticons and Hound had began teaching him that Autobots aren't what decepticons told him they were or that transition had already happened fully. So at most he'd be non-faction during the bumblebee movie, or already an autobot fully. Drift is typically a metaphor about status and privilege societies oppressing those underneath them, and the propaganda used to perpetuate that those that are trying to help alleviate that are the cause of that and would continue to perpetuate it while the ones making the propaganda are actually seeking to perpetuate it through a might makes right doctrine instead of equality. That's essentially Deadlock to Drift's arc with his conscription stories.
Barricade is an either or. He's perfect for the smokey and the bandit nod Bumblebee is in essence which works so well with the undertone of oppressed by a fascist regime and rebel fighters and that works well as a catalyst for Bee going from VW to muscle car. But then in movie 1 we have how Barricade cycles through his voices like it's his first time speaking English. So unless early on he stuck to cybertronian languages and didn't use English until he had to interrogate Sam, not sure if they'll include him. That is one of the things I like about the TLK one. He's going native. Finding his own voice, developing his own appearance. Getting into some of the earth cultures little by little and gaining some vanity flair. So including Barricade could work. Have this be his most alien form, and refusing to sully himself with earth languages, which gives us a series character build to TLK where now he's gone native.
Realistically we're looking at more likely stunticons and Barricade. Some throwaway decepticons with then the birth of the Barricade rivalry towards the end, and possibly one stunticon that survives. With the kind of story they are telling, it seems very likely they'd need something similar to the RID stunticons attitudes about racing and wrecklessness, and their road superiority aspects. Which counterplays well to having Barricade as their commanding officer so to speak. Since it'd yield a little bit of a lost boys aspect with the highest authority that's supposed to protect is the one that's controlling these highway speeders racing gang.
Galvatross
Same.
I've said this before, but my # 1 choice for a Decepticon is not Barricade or Soundwave but Deadlock before he became Drift. One, I love Drift. Two, Drift doesn't seem to think much of Bee due to the Bee's lack of discipline becoming of a warrior. Three, I'd love to see more of Drift in action scenes. Last, but not least, Deadlock seeing Bee's relationship with Steinfeld's character could be what changes his mind about the side he's fighting for.
Of course, I'm fine with this not being the case as well, but it could be neat if it did happen.
snokoan
I would like to see hot rod in it if he is confirmed personally I would live to see 1 bot and 3 cons
Galvatross
I think it's too soon to say, but that's an Autobot I can live with being in a Bee movie. Especially since Hot Rod's been on Earth this whole time.
And while I think he should have been given more to his character, I actually did like the French accent, his slight arrogance, and his time-slowing gun, so I would definitely be open to seeing more to him.
Splendic
Considering Bayverse is essentially dead, it would have been fantastic for a total redesign for BB's bot mode in this flick. Unfortunately it's way too late for that. :\
mcart
I'll be at sdcc day one this year. Won't be trying to get to Hall H but Hasbro will be my first port of call!
Megatron118
Really eager to see this new MPM Bumblebee. Would be cool if it was the 70s Camaro but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the VW
SunSwipe5
Hello, Newman
Caminus Prime
Thank God, I hated that stupid turncoat from TFP.
normtrooper
I am gonna bet that \"Hot Rod\" is code for the red Plymouth, and hot rod is used as a place holder name
metalwar2010
It would be great if Hasbro did a battle damage or beat up Beattle for the MP. I can't imagine its the MPM or the G1 again due to the many pieces still existing. I could by the US G1 MP for less than TRU prices, which they still had stock for many months. Not to mention Takara is re-issueing theirs, as well as the MPM version, which as we all know isn't supposed to be different from the US release.
Cosbydaf
The crossover I never knew I wanted!
I do find it strange that as much Hasbro loves their Bumblebee, they showed not a single piece of merchandise for this movie at Toyfair.
Lazerwave
Right now, I'm not caring.
