TF Factory on Weibo has shared what appears to be the model sheet for Grimlock from Transformers Cyberverse. The sheet shows Grimlock in both of his modes – the robot mode shown in the standard front, side and rear views for a model sheet, with a selection of views on the tyrannosaurus mode alongside it. There is also a piece of color artwork of Grimlock in dino mode which we suspect will be used for packaging art and other licensed merchandise for the new line.

HASBRO WTF
THIS WOULD LITERALLY PRINT MONEY FOR YOU

Too bad it doesn't look like this. Perhaps, 3rd party companies will do one, but they practically have all done one anyways. Who is left to make one?
Chainlink
Holy shit, that's the best Grimlock design I've ever seen. An awesome blend of Bayverse and G1 designs, which is something I really want to see more of.
Hopefully we can get a good figure of this. Official or 3P, I'll buy it.
Ra88
Assuming that the boxart uses the show's character models, it's certainly based on this but that's it.
jestermon
Not everyone writes the date in American format.
The designs remind me of the Hero Mashers very neat.
Deadend
Really want to see Generations tackle this design later. That's a badass grimlock!
trence5
Yeah, kinda of hated when the designs looks so great than you see the actual product and well……….(not gonna say anything bad.)
SPLIT LIP
This is badass. I really hope we get some kind of media that utilizes this aesthetic. It's got detail, but is still dynamic. And yay! An actual transformation scheme!
MegaDolrailer
I love that the rear claws on his arms retract. Now Grimlock can actually point his sword forward!
kaijuguy19
I dig how he's basically a fusion of the FOC and IDW designs especially of how his T-Rex mode is very FOC inspired with his robot mode basically being a lot like his IDW design.
Pandacron
That has got to be concept art for some internal story bible type thing like they had for the "aligned" stuff. That is not going to ever be animated in 2D, and you'd need a substantially-high budget to 3D animate a cast of character that detailed. As far as I know, the experience working with Polygon on Prime where episodes were still being rendered a week before airdate would probably put them off trying that again.
Sovietbot
Is it a figure model or an animation model?
Gojira Prime
the headline calls this a "model sheet"
Unless this show has a massive budget, I highly doubt that's accurate.
artimus prime
What an impressive drawing. I hope he looks the same way in the show.
Music
Grimlock looks so dynamic. I love it! I can't wait to see him on screen.
ZombehDino
Kind of a shame that the toy doesn't capture this design very elegantly, because these drawings are rad as hell. This is probably my favorite take on Grimlock since Fall of Cybertron.
Nemesis Otaku
Thad such a bad ass design, fitting for Grimlock!
grindcore138
Oh my word, that is a fantastic Grimlock design! If only the toy (or POTP Grimsy) actually looked like that
Ra88
Yeah that's definitely by Emiliano. Absolutely love it too. Shame none of the toys so far come anywhere near it.
