Thanks to fellow 2005 Boards member RickyLeeSTF for providing us with a very nice set of in-hand images of Power Of The Prime Voyager Wave 2 Elita-1.
We have clear shots of Elita-1 in all her modes including her combiner torso mode and a close-up of the Combiner head. Albeit a remold of previous POTP Voyager Starscream, Elita-1 looks even better. We may think this was the original idea of the mold, instead of Starscream.
You can check out the images attached to this news post after the jump and then sound off your impressions at the 2005 Boards!

So, has this wave come and gone already? Looks like he is only available for near $50 from third party sellers…

I just watched that episode today because I got the rest of the Terrorcons

You may proceed with your search in the Midwest of America,
Shame…..Hun-Gurrr cannot fully pull off his posture from Money is Everything,

Glad to see I'm not the only one frustrated by the lack of Wave 2 stuff.

More like Walmart is simply dropping the ball.

I almost wonder if Walmart is dropping Leader and Voyager POTP in order to make a shelf spot for Predaking, now that TRU won't be selling it.
RKillian
That's not surprising. Out here, most stores dropped leaders after, if not during, Combiner Wars. The situation with voyagers is looking very similar. All that's really being stocked consistently is PrimeMasters.
It's puzzling because the economy is supposed to be doing so well. What's with the supply chain issues that keep the online shops in perpetual preorder mode? What's with the "oh me oh my retail price so 'spensive" at shows? I mean, to hear people talk, we know it's not customers or Hasbro or retailers at fault so where are the mystery problems coming from?

That's not good…

Although I do not work in the toy department, a can verify that the Voyagers and Deluxes are showing a “DC OUT” when you try to order them, with a status of non replenish and no ETA. This along with the recent reset adding the studio series completely left out the leader class, while leaving a spot for potp leaders. I don’t know what the hell is going on, but we better get flooded with the remainder of Abominus body parts at some point, this is getting worry some.

Eh, it's not bad once you get used to it.

Oh good, I thought it was just me.

Man I really didn't think they'd be this hard to find. And yeah, the $50 price tag online is ridiculous (even the $35 is not much better). Last time I saw Hun-Gurrr was Feb 18th. I know restocks are coming in a month or two form now but damn, this is pretty awful. I thought surely you all would at least see some Eltia-1's. Nope…
Despite the fact I own both, this is pretty frustrating. They're cool toys and I want fellow TF collectors to share in their glory (plus I want to see if someone else think Elita-1's combiner head is a pain to put back into her chest too). I'm not someone who is proud to say, "I have them before anyone else. In your face!" I want people to have them. I want people to talk about them. It's one of the reasons I hate exclusives because there's really no reason for them other than that a retailer or a convention paid for them. And they're in limited quantities so not everyone gets to have one. Plus if you miss them, you gotta pay more money. Cool. Boy I just LOVE doing that! *Sigh* The only thing I find more frustrating than not having the money for a toy is having the money for a toy and you just can't find it.
I'm going to stop writing this now because I sound like I'm having a midlife crisis.
I want a Ferrari.
RKillian
Wouldn't surprise me to see them at Ross or Marshals a year from now.

And to think that I half-expected these two to shelf warm…

trust me I get blamed for stuff that's out of my contral all the time 98% are super understanding but the 2% will drive you insane anyways back on topic cant wait to get hun-gurr and the rest of the terrorcons and finish the scramble city combiners
RKillian
The Toys R Us staff don't have to deal with mean old toy collectors anymore either.
(You know, I _do_ get what you're saying, which is part of why I don't shop retail much, but when corporate shuts out all criticism, you get ******ed statements like "nobody could've seen this coming" that let corporate shift blame and not learn anything.)
Revan1307
I'm thankful I don't have to deal with aholes about toys
RKillian
no excuse as someone who shops retail i think you should be thankful customers stop by instead of angry
ZapRowsdower
You think we could report these Walmarts to corporate? There has to be some sort of accounting system where a retailer has to answer for poor performance. I say you take some pictures and report them. If the problem is the manager, let him be reprimanded. If the problem is on Hasbro's end (as I have long argued), let Walmart corporate become aware that the situation is frustrating for their customers and that they need to talk to Hasbro about proper supply!
You guys are ASSUMING the context of his remark. You're also assuming he said those words exactly, or that he scowled or screamed.
Really, I'm pretty sure the average TF fan does NOT scream at retail employees, so I'm shocked to hear you guys think so poorly of Sportimus (without asking for more details first!).
You really think that the toys appearing in CA (and nowhere else) is all "luck"? Very likely, you're the point of entry and the supply was so low that the chains didn't bother shipping them past this point. EVERYTHING appears in CA first. Luck has nothing to do with it.
Also, thanks for sharing the pictures! If there's a diabetic page somewhere here, why not post a picture of the delicious caramel cake you had last night?
