Via Planet X on Facebook we have a look at the group’s upcoming figures, Morpheus, Phobetor and Phantasus. The trio are based on the Insecticons Sharpshot, Hardshell, and Kickback* seen in High Moon Studios’ Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, which was released back in 2012 and still remains near and dear to the fandom’s heart, even with the game’s removal from online platforms. Kickback closely resembles the one released by Hasbro in approach – unsurprising given both draw from the same inspirations – while the other two Insecticons are welcome additions to the growing stable of unlicensed figures paying tribute to this installment of the Transformers franchise.
* Yes, we know the Insecticons are Shrapnel and Bombshell, however in-game they were referred to with these names.

Scale wise I mean with FOC figures as in they don’t scale with PX figures other than the dinobots imo. And are probably a bit small for SSGE figures too

My only issue after 3 years is that some parts have become floppy, especially Bombshell’s arms, and because of how they’re designed I’ve been wary of taking them off the ball peg to tighten them.
KveTar
I like that scale and have no complaints about clear plastic.
dkr7
Looking at getting these guys, how have the clear plastic joints held up now their nearing 5 years old? Imo they only really scale with PX Dinobots and I’m hoping look decent with Microblaze Bruticus
Slashformingdoofus
Clear Plastic?! Oh no I wished I would’ve known that before I ordered them. The studio series bumblebee had clear plastic and I broke window wings after fidgeting around with the transformation too many times. I don’t want these guys to break too.
NothingHead
Mine haven’t broken or anything, but they had no bones right out of the package, first batch. They’re like 60% Kiki’s at this point, and they still don’t hold those damn weapons for shit. I dunno what a set that’s been sitting in a warehouse for years is going to be like.
Zaq5322
I just picked them up off Aliexpress for $70, I think it’s ok considering the new Hasbro releases will probably cost more than that for the 3. Since they’ve been out for years, how are the transparent joints holding up for everyone?
Duskscream
I like these but they are way overpriced for three short deluxes
halfaway
time to revisit these guys after Shockwave
just oversize (and use a little better plastics)
SG_DJ_Vaporwave
Got a set off a fellow member for $75. Can someone post a pic of them next to Planet X Vulcun and a few TFP deluxes?

Aaaccckk!!!! Bugs in my hotel room!
QuintusTheExaltedOne
The official kickback is a head taller than all of them. I use him as the leader.
LondoFoollari
So they are smaller that the official Kickback? I had hoped they were the same size as I love my kickback, but he needs some company so I was considering these guys. Bit turned off now if you think they’re not as good.
QuintusTheExaltedOne
Also can confirm that Planet X kickback is garbage (to me). Hasbro/takara’s Kickback is just a way better figure, and is more accurate in general, it’s just way too blocky for me, but the Planet X kickback will make for a great generic insecticon. View attachment 28336834

I’d like to see someone tackle these big bois to go along with the Fall of Cybertron trio: View attachment 28316739View attachment 28316738

…kids are baby goats; traditionally, thin lambskin gloves were light and delicate to allow for gentle handling without marring an objet d'art…
LBock
They are roughly the same size, but FP are much bulkier.
