To each their own. However, I'm asking for all 3 modes to just look good and (perhaps even more important) look right. As is, Even the UW version looks more like a Universe 03/08 redeco/slight retool version of Scattershot, and for a line that strived to be as much of a modernized G1 as possible, that's a pretty big mark against Scattershot's vehicle mode. It isn't like we're talking about a true triple changer here. A combiner torso isn't under such stringent limitations as a Springer or a Blitzwing.

They wanted to do another one. That’s it. They wanted to make a platinum edition close to the holidays and wanted to get some use out of the sky lynx mold. Fine by me, he’s my fav combiner from CW behind bruitcus and Victorion. I love his look and colors and don’t care he doesn’t have leozack and jallguar.
Mattymo
Looked fine. It does the job I didn’t care. It’s not like he’s ever really in altmode in my collection.

I\'m irritated that Perfect Effect never made an upgrade set to give Scattershot a more G1-styled spaceship mode. Sure, re-shell and repaint hands and feet for every combiner ever, but nobody thought Scattershot\'s CW/UW ship mode looked like crap?
Crim
End of the line, only happened because of Computron.
Oniconvoy
Because he’s awesome.
RobotKnight95
I think a better question is if they weren't planning to do Computron why would they bother with a Liokaiser?
Mattymo
because Bruticus is one of the most popular combiners and the technobots were not originally planned. thats why Betatron was created. Hasbro fully said they werent planning on doing the technobots and was added to the end because they made time. SkyLynx was made because they wanted to produce a new skylynx.

What confuses me to this day is we never got the Technobot components in the Waves but we got Sky Reign and Bruticus…
Crim
I wish they would release these in the same size as their pack in CW boxset posters.

I really like Vortex and Brawl's packaging art. Now if only Brawl's toy had the arm articulation for that pose…
