Machinima’s Titans Return web-series ended last Tuesday with its 10th and final episode, but Machinima still wants to promote the show and more importantly the surprisingly appearance of Megatronus.
Megatronus made his debut during the grand finale of the series and Machinima shared a nice poster of the character via their Facebook and Twitter accounts while also announcing their second grand surprise for all fans: Megatronus is voiced by actor Mark Hamill. The unforgettable Luke Skywalker from Star Wars and the incredible voice of The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series.
Titans Return ended but preparing the way for the next Machinima’s series: Power Of The Primes. Mark Hamill is among other great actors who will perform on this series. You can find the full voice cast here. If you missed the show, you can watch all the episodes here via Go90 if you live in the US.
You can check out the poster after the jump and then sound off at the 2005 Boards!

I just did marathon last night ep.5 to 10.
yeah while Aesthetic is g1, the story and frame rate sucks.
there are dumb moments as well.
– Victorion didn't saw Trypticon behind? Like how many seconds?
– Hot Rod could've escaped Overlord but he stick and sit eye to eye. (well he became rodimus unicronus at the end)
– What are the Combiners doing hanging out together on a frozen Fort Max?
– Just Emissary? Having a Cerebro headmaster technosuit, Fort Max' head didn't transform into a transtector body.
Yeah, I watched it since I'm a fan of the G1 look and the generations toy. But Machinima shouldn't take fans for granted.
I just see this Prime Wars Trilogy as a "Windblade TF Webisode Series".

Unless it was made with a detachable face it'd be a crappy homage to RoTF Fallen anyway.
TBH it's a crap homage one way or another because one has to squint eyes very hard to see the similarity.
And it looks as capable of transforming into anything as was g1 toon Alpha Trion. I.e. – not at all.

Can we expect Megatronus with a lightsabre?
Edwardmus Prime
I'm not saying this is any better than the previous toy or design of the Fallen, dude. That one has more going for it in several ways, such as looking like it transforms due to being based on the toy and not looking plain. Like, nothing I said ran counter to the idea that the original the Fallen looks good or better than this. A toy of this design released in the modern day would in fact be easier to attain for most than one released eleven years ago, however.
That being said, this Megatronus is in fact a G1/Classics style version of the Fallen, simply one that looks different from the previous one. It is placed within a series that prominently features toys in a line following the stylistic choices of the G1/Classics based Generations line. Megatronus just isn't one for consistency in design.
Autobot Burnout
Not really, given the original Fallen was technically G1 since it was a cybertronian form and while it was pre-Earth contact…it's pretty goddamn badass.
Additionally, I do recall that this is in fact a rejected War Within Megatron design (I know the Titanium 6" toy of Fallen is at least and he's notable for being one of the few actually good Titanium era figures) and it turns into a tank.
There's nothing that lifeless Frankenstein's monster knockoff has over this design. NOTHING.
Edwardmus Prime
To the sound of the Megatronus clock…
It's a G1/Classics style version of Megatronus that homages a previous version of the character, so I am interested. I'm kind of starting to see TR Galvatron in it but that wouldn't make sense with the new gimmicks introduced.
crimsondynamo32
Am I the only one that wants a toy of this guy?
Prime Master notwithstanding…
Destron23
… this is exactly what came to mind when I first saw him… just really don't like that helmet design on anyone to be honest… it just can't be taken seriously. XD
Bumblemus Prime
Ha, you're right. Clearly something is off in the process, whether with Adam or with the producers

Adam Beechen (Writer for RID2015) wrote the scripts for Titans Return and is writing both the story and scripts for Power of the Primes.

I'm not too surprised. Mazinger is a bit more famous than his watered down American counterpart.

I know this show blows ass cheese, but I have to say how impressed I am at how many here know of Mazinger-Z. And the fact that no one’s called it by the horrible American sub name of Tranzor-Z is even more impressive.
That has been the sole reason for me loving giant robots as a kid in Puerto Rico (we got the uncensored spanish version, so this was also my introduction to copious violence, he/she villains, decapitated floating heads and story lines in which the good guys don’t always win. Yeah. Kinda fucked me up in the best possible way. Lol) . From there it’s been nothing but Transformers, Mighty Orbots, Voltron, and so forth.
Good job guys. Proud of you!

I've been watching RiD2015 and it's overall fairly enjoyable. I don't understand why the same people didn't work on the Prime Wars series. The writers for Prime & RiD2015 clearly know how to create well-rounded stories.
There's so much good material in IDW as well; you just have to compress it a bit, like the X-Men animated series did with the corpus of 80s & 90s comics.
Kickback
Be happy about what?
A poorly written (and delivered) narrative that features absolutely none of the gimmicks from the toy lines it's meant to tell the story of? This incessant need to shoehorn characters in to it for the sake of their popularity alone? Or at least try their hardest to continue to push and tell you that characters are important even though they really aren't? A poorly animated (anyone can make cel-shaded 3D models these days) visual sequence that's choppier than amateur fan-made animations? The inability to actually animate transformations as the series went on?
Shutting up and accepting something is dangerous. Voicing displeasure and criticizing poor decisions in production allows the possibility of change.
Nerdling
This show is so bad it makes season 3 of G1 look like an Oscar-winning production.
Instead of using their sizeable budget to create this garbage, why couldn't they have instead funded a comic series based on the toys, and maybe include a few issues with the figures?
I know comics are not the medium most people reach for nowadays when it comes to the toy fiction but at least it would have given them more time to develop an interesting storyline. These things still look and feel fanboy-made.
VortexPrime
This show and "official character design" are the type of things I cringe when I see promoted on Twitter or whatever because they have no redeamable qualities as others already said and I wuoldn't like my absolutely favorite franchise to be portaided that way to the public.
Say what you want about the Bay movies but they have at least AMAZING effects and characters and every single robot scene is a work of art by an animation point of view.
This, this is just horrible on all fronts, before this design for Megatronus you could have said that the CG models are AT LEAST good rapresentation of the character version in the story, but if they are going to create other primes like Solus that look like this… don't promote this, hide it and let people forget about it.
so very clearly sometimes NOTHING is better than SOMETHING.
MeGrimlockAwesom
don't watch it. trust me, its very pointless. might be the worst piece of media i have ever looked at.
MeGrimlockAwesom
this show is garbage. you know it, and i know it. and this is coming from someone who uses the michael bay movies as a guilty pleasure
MEGATRON__210
Hey guys been a while since Ive posted. Quick question please. I haven't watched this yet. Will there be a dvd release for this down the road or is streaming from a web site the only way this will ever get watched? Also, why are these awesome g1 series with this much star power not getting a tv airing? I loved tfs prime but jumped ship soon as I watched RID.
