Courtesy of Weibo user 爆料人小明, we now have a better look at Studio Series Voyager Class Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen Megatron. Previously, we saw only a partially concealed teaser of this figure, but now we are treated to its full glory.
This Voyager Class toy is based on the Decepticon tyrant’s appearance on the second movie of the Live Action Movie Series by director Michael Bay. As we learned previously, this new toy comes with a cardboard background depicting ‘Forest Fight’; series’ most beloved action sequence. Voyager Megatron’s bio is as follows:
“Megatron holds nothing back to unleash destruction against his ultimate nemesis”.
Megatron transforms in 32 Steps.
You can check out the new image, after the jump.

It’s meant to run alongside POTP.

That is labeled as Rotf optimus so no they wolnt make one. But as for dotm it does look like the tooling could be reused. for it later so best guess is yes later down the line.

I can’t decide if I regret getting the Movie the Best version back in August…

Trying to wait Toy Fair;
Thread pops up without news;
Sadness.
Where are the leaks, leakers!? you still have time!
Septimus-Prime
Tempting, but I\'ll wait, will they make Optimus Prime ROTF/DOTM Version too?

Agreed – hoping there's a way to give him his proper high-heel foot, which would compress the leg & correct their proportions.
John TheDestroyer
Those are leader class Optimus and Sentinel.
Shin Densetsu
Wait what….are these Studio Series figures or customs?
Chuggington
If he's not mistransformed, I'm pretty sure I spy a hinge in his ankle that'd make it possible to move his feet upwards. So if that is the correct transformation, it looks like you can still mistransform him anyway to at least make him look a little better.

Megatron looks very good…….. but only from the knee-up. I didn't like the look of the tank tread feet look that makes Megatron look like he's wearing clown shoes. The lower leg also looks kinda skinny. I wonder if Megatron is just mistransformed in the image, but I doubt about that.
Requiem Prime
I'm hoping the odd bits on the inside of his feet come off as weapons, otherwise they got a lot of marks that surpass the old voyager (even spreading the feet treads). I wouldn't mind if the face is still front and center, but I hope they give us the option to tuck it away. (Seriously, that was so dumb; big armoured tank and he can still get shot in the face)

I'm looking forward to seeing what Wei Jiang does to this guy…
CobraKai
His bot mode looks screen accurate and brings me back to the days when Hasbro gave a crap about their movie line. His alt mode still looks more like his concept art than the jet/tank hybrid he actually was. I wonder if he has collapsible wings.
Is studio series Hasbro’s next main line after the Prime trilogy concludes?

Well you're obviously a huge TF movie figure fan. I couldn't even begin to tell you who is molded from whom. But thanks for all the info anyway.
LipSmack
I bought 3…
Still love it though,will definitely sell off my sealed one

Thing is, it would take so much modifying that it would end up being a new mould to all intents and purposes anyway, especially as they’re now using the ILM models as the basis of the CAD files.
Apart from exclusives like Mission to Cybertron Megatron which aren’t intended to be a screen accurate figure, I don’t think they’ve ever used an non-movie mould to make an onscreen movie character. They’re going for more accuracy in this line so starting from a totally unrelated mould doesn’t make a huge amount of sense.
Crowbar’s remoulded from Berserker, but that’s because they have the same body type and alt mode; Ratchet looks like he might be remoulded from the DOTM deluxe, but it may just share engineering in the upper body; Optimus looks like he shares engineering with the Evasion voyager and the TLK voyager. Otherwise, it’s all new moulds in this line; even Stinger isn’t a remoulded of AOE Bumblebee, so them using figures from a non-movie line doesn’t seem likely, especially as the triple changing or combining gimmicks would be totally redundant on a movie Megatron figure.

Makes me regret buying that MB Megatron now…
Sigmus Prime
Yep yep yep. To be honest, I probably wouldn't be interested in these figures if there wasn't the potential to recreate that scene. I think it's a swell idea.
