Third Party Alien Attack has shared extra images of their impressive A-01 El Cid – AOE/TLK Optimus Prime for all Transformers movie collectors.
The new images surfaced on Alien Attack’s Weibo showing his take on the movie Autobot leader in some iconic poses from the movies. We get a clear shot of the back of the figure which reveals how Alien Attack dealt with the infamous kibble for this figure. A close-up of the head of the toy and weapons let us see the excellent paint job and finishing for this release. The last image gives us a comparison shot in vehicle mode next to MPM Bumblebee and Alien Attack STF-02 Firage (DOTM Dino).
You can check the mirrored images after the jump and then share your impressions at the 2005 Boards!

I mostly find them entertaining to watch. Plus the music is usually awesome
PeolesDru
That's exactly what they are meant to be!
Shmoptimus Prime
Well you made it look as smooth as humanly possible. Great job! Your patience astounds me haha
octobotimus
You do a great job. I’m always happy when you review a figure I happened to buy, your vids always make the transformations less painful. Basically use them as instructions.
PeolesDru
I'm not trying to make it look smooth per se, I'm just trying to show each step as clearly as possible in the order I recommend. It really is a POS.
ColdMangoJuice
This looks closer to what the leader class Hasbro release SHOULD have been. I wonder if we'll get a studio series of Knight Optimus?
Shmoptimus Prime
Wow, even for $36 I'm not sure I'd recommend this. Unless someone really really wanted a display-only pre-knight AOE Optimus, that they would never look at up-close
VelsR
Price in China is RMB 238 now (approx USD 36 before shipping) and so this reviewer took a chance. But from the very start of the video you can see why…

It's apparent Alien Attack still doesn't know what the fuck tolerances and clearances are.

@Shmoptimus Prime would be interesting to see if it's to lay the foundation for v2.0 to drop
Shmoptimus Prime
Peolesdru actually made a video for this piece of shit! Makes it look smooth, too. Too bad it in no way reflects the reality of the figure.
Liege Prime
Honestly this figure has been outclassed since its already rocky release. I would save the money and put it towards another version, or ThreeZero's upcoming DLX figure. I mean, you won't be transforming this guy much anyways.
VVa
If older figures are your desire, I’d check Mercari. That’s where I got tons of my 07 Movie bots from. And perhaps eBay, I know it’s a bit sketchy at times, but that’s where I got Legendary Optimus Prime, MPM Prime and Challenger. Ya just have to be very thorough on the researching when it comes to sellers!
octobotimus
Oh yeah a ton are, some aren’t. Still looking for some older Hasbro figures that for some reason I keep skipping on even tho I want them.
VVa
All the good figures you would legitimately want are usually the most expensive. Lol
But to be fair, they are worth it imo because they make me happy. Like FansHobby Armada Prime was the only Non-Movie Prime that I dropped the $200 for.
octobotimus
Thank you. Lost interest in it like 5 minutes after leaving the page lol.
Back to searching for figures I legitimately wanted. Thank goodness I don’t impulse buy things immediately….
VVa
Boredom. It's true. You don't actually want this, it's just the temptation of a good deal.
zark225
Thats how I feel man lmao its status of being almost legendarily bad has me curious. Plus its actually cheap, compared to the TW Knight Orion who I bought for similar reasons.
octobotimus
Why tf am I actually kinda tempted…
