Voice actor David Kaye has taken to his Youtube page to grace us all with his annual holiday song as sung by Beast Wars Megatron. This year has a twist however, as his arch enemy Optimus Primal (aka Garry Chalk) posted his own holiday greeting a few days prior. In the video Mr. Chalk called out Mr. Kaye. So, enjoy the playful banter and delightful nostalgia as David Kaye responds in the video below.

I crawl out of years of absence to whisper a tiny correction. It's a perler bead Optimus Prime and I gave it to him at this year's TFCON in Washington D.C.
Really love that he does the Christmas videos. Each one is a joy to watch and this year's was a complete laugh riot.

He hasn't done his deeper toned Megatron voice in many years. I'm with you, but it's the thought that counts. He still loves that role even if he sorta forgot how he did it lol

I guess he forgot what his Nemesis was called and what Megatron sounds like too (other than when he said yes he was just speaking / singing normally) It would be like Gary Chalk doing a Stargate song and not singing with a Russian accent.
I appreciate the thought – but perhaps slip in an Beast Wars DVD or look at Youtube so you can remember how you played that part it was 20 or so years ago after all. He may have done it purposefully or he may have forgotten but I'd have enjoyed it more if he'd hamed it up even more.
