Thanks to German licensing portal Brandora, we have new stock images of the upcoming second wave of Power of the Prime Prime Master figures. This wave gives us Alchemist Prime in his Submarauder armor and Alpha Trion in his Landmine armor.

Why don't you ask every other media they've appeared in? Don't take the name too literally, half the original line (named Robots is Disguise) they weren't in disguise anymore anyway with all the Cybertronian alt modes.

Do you realize how goofy saying "Only in Japan were they human sized" when the whole gimmick of the toy line was "pretenders"? What were they pretending to be if they weren't meant, fictionally, to be human sized. Otherwise, what's the point of having a human or animal outer shell if they weren't intended to be the size of the thing they were pretending to be?
C16
Only in Japan were they human sized. And the inner robots weren't supposed to be tiny. Since mass shifting isn't real, and their disguise isn't their true form, priority should belong to the inner robots. It's not like we have a standard human size scaling in these toylines anyway.
Mecheon
For complete proof of how great they are, we clearly need a picture of Skullgrin terrorising some Lego people
RodimusZero
Can't really understand most of the criticism against these guys, I think they're great mini-versions, and they're only $5 lol
That said, the weird matrix head thing is kind of a bummer to me… kinda wish they had just kept the headmaster thing going…
Edwardmus Prime
These don't look human at all, unlike the originals. Beyond being upright and bipedal (like most Transformers), they have been mechanized and could pass as anything from aliens to — well — robots. Yellow Trion here has blocky arms, head and torso, as an example.

To each their own then. I think a robot pretending to be a human should probably be human sized compared to other robots, but that's just me. I mean, they literally have the exact same gimmick as the original G1 Pretenders save for the little dudes inside turning into basically a face instead of a vehicle.

Amen brother. I like and darn near prefer, having updated versions of G1 toys. The fact I can now pose stuff instead of them just being static figures already has them in my favor and with Hasbro's paint choice of going with the G1 toy color schemes it's like having those G1 toys that are now more movable. I still don't get the guy complaining about the size of the Pretender/Primemasters. I still say it has always bothered me that the pretenders were so huge. Having them the size they are seem more natural if you're, you know, pretending to be a human.
FORT MAXie
This is why I do not care for Power of the Primes story line and just happy with the products, like I am going to buy 13 or more to get all the cards, the only reason I ever kept any of those cards is I liked the artwork and more then often the package artwork was chopped up or destroyed in process of product removal.
POTP toys thou have been good to… questionable but so far none have been flat out "Bay"ed.
FORT MAXie
Not alot of those weapons that come with the toy bring back any G1 nostalgia and lego swords…. you sir scare me.
Scaleface made a sword like the g1 version now to get a g1 version of the gun, thou the side pegs would not be needed.

Technically, and originally there were only two Matrixes. The Matrix of Leadership, and the Dead Matrix(now called the Matrix of Chaos). Primus’s Matrix was given to Prima(who himself was almost an extension of Primus), and was put into the hilt of the Star Saber by Solus. That Matrix was handed down to the other Prime’s throughout history. The reincarnated Thirteenth/The Arisen was given it as Optimus upon becoming a Prime.
All of the Prime Masters don’t turn into specific Matrix cores for one that they may have carried themselves, presumably from what we know. They are just manifestations of the Prime’s powers, or Avatars, that can be inserted into a Matrix frame to give that robot said Prime’s powers. Optimus carries the Matrix and it is seperate from him, as was Prima when he carried it. 12 is the right number.

They do have mini weapons. Their gun mode detaches to become their weapon. For anything else, there's shapeways and kre-o for. Even some of the previous mini-versions like they did for TF Prime have extra weapons. Or use MegaConstrux or Lego stuff. Like Leo Swords for Bludgeon.
FORT MAXie
I do like that idea to have 3MM weapon remakes of all their G1 variations will you be redoing their guns too, now that would be a nice set to find
Ya to me Hey its mini Landmine and Skullgrin, hate the new story line concepts but not complaints about the products, It is a shame not to have mini weapons but i can see the choking hazard part and them being left for 3rd party Such as scaleface's sword post, would not mind seeing a full on set for all the pretenders. Then again I still want some 3rd party Target master guns for our titans wars, heck even good quality KO versions of the Legends would be nice. I would hate to spend 40USD to get the same item I have just because of a targetmaster figure.
Deadend
Yeah, across different universes. Allegedly Optimus is "The Arisen" or the reincarnation of that one.
*Shrug* kind of immaterial really anyway. Once you buy them, you can make your own fiction or decide how you want to play with them. The Prime figure is War Dawn Pax to Optimus anyway, and not IDW.
