Venturing into the brick and mortar wild on this huge shopping weekend, TFW2005 member Rookbartley brings us news of more Hobby Lobby embossed Transformers signs found in Kalamazoo, MI for $12.50 and $10.00 each!
The first sign features faction symbols (with a rather memorable typo) while the second sign shows Starscream, Soundwave, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Grimlock.

That faction symbol sign is a disaster. Not only is a prominent faction misspelled, but they didn't even use the more standard Predacon symbol.
The other sign is also a mess of different versions of characters. It's ok but I'm not going out of my way for it.
The box art designs from earlier and the logo were much cooler.

The Green family (owners of Hobby Lobby) are also the founders of the new Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC, although I don't know if their entire collection of antiquities (stolen or not) is in the museum.

Yep. I changed the vid, cuz the first one started getting into the religious slant of it about halfway through. Their motivation seems to be religion though… or greed… not sure which (or both?).
But the cut & dry of it is that they’re knowingly smuggling stolen cultural artifacts into the US. Where they go after that is anyone’s guess. The personal collection of a HL CEO? The black market? Who knows?
