GCreation has updated their Facebook page with the first prototype image of their GDW-02 Rebel figure. This masterpiece-scaled version of Prowl will be based off of his appearance in IDW’s comic series. The group is teasing a larger updated next week, but so far this figure looks very intimidating.

Have you tried this spray yet? Wondering if I should get some to try to extend my tires lives.

Thanks guy.

Use something like this:
303 Leather/Rubber/Vinyl Protectant Liquid 16 oz – Ace Hardware

Does anyone have any preventative suggestions for rubber that has not yet failed? Are there oils to treat cheap rubber with so it lasts longer?
Lord Mechatron
You know what? I'll give that a try and see my results. Such a awesome looking figure, that and Prowl. I'd hate to let them go as I doubt we'll ever get another version of these characters in IDW form in this scale. Thank you for the info

We just need some solid 2 or 3 part glue on replacements for the tires (and Fuuma's treads) and be done with it.
knightmare6
You can try the trick I did with the cracked treads from my "Sixshot."
I took the pieces and made the tread's shape and then used tape to surround the pieces. Then I put 1-2 drops of Gorilla Glue on the inside of the tread pieces, where the wheels would go, and used a toothpick to spread it around, while the glue from the tape held the pieces in-place. Then let it dry and use an X-acto knife to trim off any excess glue, and I was able to get the treads back on the wheels, and because they were now segmented, I could still roll them!
Lord Mechatron
That sucks, sorry to hear that guys. I thought it was just me. I've only heard about the original version of Sixshot having this issue with the rubber tires but that's 4 figures for me with G-Creations. Im not buying anything else from them again. Really unfortunate because the figures are so beautiful but to pay so much money for them I wish I had replacements instead of having to remedy the situation myself.
Thebricklord
After thinking about it, my current plan is that I’ll try to get measurements of the tires right now while they’re still relatively intact. Then I’ll let them wear down and I’ll try to replace them at that point. Either with rubber tape layered on or some 3d printed tire

Damn, mine are cracking too… wonder if some other type of rubber gaskets or model tires would work as replacements.
Thebricklord
Just checked my prowl and unfortunately mine is cracking as well. Really unfortunate for such a beautiful figure.
Lord Mechatron
Anyway to get in touch with G-creations for replacement parts? Whatever rubber they used for these figures, really trash. I have Prowl and Smokescreen and pretty much just kept them on display and the rubber tires are starting to crack on their own SMH. I also have their Metallic and Non Metallic Sixshot and both copies have the same issue with the rubber tires. Sucks

Selling my copy of this figure. Complete, only ever displayed, never transformed. PM if interested.

You got it, boss.

Ah, took me a moment. You mean possible literally "bros" and moldmates as a opposed to bots with "bro" attitude.
That group would definitely include jerk jock Sideswipe, good ol' boy Inferno and Smokescreen the rogue.
The good natured, bit clearly suffering PTSD Bluestreak would want to be in that group.
The fancy-pants, engineer Grapple, pretty boy Sunstreaker and logical to the point of jerkiness Prowl not as much
DrCalligari
I need to get this guy again.
