Courtesy of Daimchoc via the facebook page of Robin Tham, we have one more new reveal from this years Botfest in Singapore. During the Maketoys panel, the group revealed the next figure in their Cross Dimension line will be their version of GodBomber. This figure will be a separate release from their Thunder Manus with Divine Armor. That release will not feature combining parts, while MTCD-04 will be a fully transformable Godbomber style figure that can also disassemble and form the armor parts for Cross Dimension’s Thunder Manus. Which is ideal for anyone who wants the full Ginrai experience with their third party transforming toys.

That's just my made up name for a black God Ginrai, and the Manus treatment is simply release a black version of the Thunder Manus set and not bother giving Erebus the Divine Shooter.

In hindsight there was probably a good reason why Maketoys was hesitant to make this. If they do intend to do a "Devil Ginrai" release next year they might be better off just giving Erebus the Manus treatment.

So revisiting this figure, going through transformations, posing, etc. etc… even worse than I remembered. It's such a mess in every mode. It really stinks because the robot mode is the best I've ever seen God Bomber look but the hollowness of the torso and big old canopy in the back just ruin it. It would've been nice if the canopy could detach and become a shield, TBH. Especially considering he comes with that huge blade in the cannon.

i got this set for £50…and its barely worth that XD i find it weird that its worse than the one that comes with manus. if the feet connected better and the godbomber bot mode had a better back, it wouldve made hell of a difference, and the lack of thigh parts is just odd (i know i can use the manus ones, but they dont store in godbomber).

Wife got me this for Christmas. I dig it, but it’s a far cry from some of the superior work maketoys has been putting out. He’s just a cool robot on the shelf, armor/vehicle he won’t ever see.

Despite all the negative reviews, I got it anyway for the robot mode and I was immediately disappointed by it after opening the box.

However, I do like its combine mode more than the divine armour.
Will definitely get the recolour version for Thunder Erebus if Maketoys give it a new head and weapons.
